The food in Giorgio’s is incredible! Every mouthful is genuinely euphoric never experienced a place like this! The staff are super friendly and helpful. Making a real effort to provide a great service could not recommend this place more to anyone within 500 miles of Portland street you NEED to go!

Went with my husband and elderly Dad for lunch. Food was absolutely delicious and they serve very large portions. We had three different dishes and they were all well cooked and seemed home made. The portions wouldn’t suffer from being made smaller, especially the pies. The staff are always friendly in there but the two staff on yesterday were very good and especially chatty with my Dad, which he really liked. Thank you for a lovely lunch.

Great food and atmosphere, excellent service

My husband and I came for the first time to the rising moon to celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary and husbands birthday we was not disappointed the food was fabulous and plenty of it I had the garlic mushrooms which was very filling and the sweet chilli chicken stir fry and a side of chunky chips I couldn't finish it My husband had the soup and the hunters chicken it was lovely The staff were very helpful and lovely The rooms are great we will definitely be back definitely worth 5 stars

We had the beef Sunday roast and it was lovely. Cooked to perfection and we will be going back soon for more .

me and my partner came for our weekly meal at rising moon and food is amazing as always, we tried a different meal then our normal orders and it was fantastic, our waiter was amazing and is always lovely to talk to, working hard even with a broken arm. made our cocktails and i did feel bad because he was the designated drink maker and had to shake them. the atmosphere was lovely and calm, we came just before close so there wasn't many people there. 10/10 experience will be coming back next week.

We enjoyed a delicious meal at the Rising Moon on Sunday, nicely finished off with Baileys Cheesecake and served up by the friendliest staff. The portion sizes were generous and the prices were very reasonable. Also, it’s a dog friendly pub, which meant we didn’t have to drop the dog off at home before eating. Would highly recommend it.

Not the best of experiences if I’m being honest. The waiting on staff, particularly the waitress was extremely pleasant and very nice. However the food wasn’t the best ie Garlic Mushrooms, very salty and hardly any garlic flavour. Two lots of chicken in white wine sauce were half decent but both were served on 3 baby carrots, a few strands of asparagus and 6 anaemic fries, and the risotto was very bland and non descriptive. First time, and probably the last time we’ll eat there, and at £172 for 4 meals I wouldn’t call it reasonable, especially as the meals weren’t that good-pity really.

Family meal. Great food and friendly staff and a really comfortable atmosphere. The prices were pretty cheap compared to other places and there's a children's play area and plenty of parking.
