La Sentidos Loca – WiganWe had a brilliant time at ChakaLaka - the food was amazing and the staff were really lovely. We’ll be back!
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreSuch amazing food! Me and my partner came the other day and loved it. Best indian I've had in Manchester in recent years. And family run too!
Mumbai Tiffin Room – ChorltonThe food was delicious and the portions were just right. The atmosphere was lively and inviting. The service from the host Nia was absolutely great, we had enough time to order and we were alerted to an offer that would save us money on our meal. The quality and quantity of food you get makes this place a good choice for food.
The Drop Bar Cafe Restaurant – ChorltonOur second visit to the Rising Moon for a Wedding Anniversary Lunch and were not disappointed with the Quality of the Food ( Pork Loin delicious) and excellent Table Service from Adele and staff . A lovely warm restaurant with country views which we would highly recommend as an ideal place for great food at reasonable prices and for any special occasions. Looking forward to returning in the very near future. Many thanks for a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience
The Rising Moon – HydeGreat food and a lovely host all at very reasonable prices. We'll be back for sure.
Mumbai Tiffin Room – ChorltonWent in for food last night was surprised as the menu had changed ordered starters and two curries we have never had before they were outstanding also tried the new bread that replaces the Nan bread Paratha it’s called it was so nice wish we had ordered two The service was excellent as always can’t wait to go back
Titos Asian Grill Indian – PrestwichIt was my husband's birthday and it occurred to me that we'd never had South African food before, so I booked us into Chakalaka, a petit et bijou Boer cantina. The decor is bright and colourful and the staff were friendly and helpful. We chose a variety of small plates and sides. I had the chicken skewers with chips, pap, and mushrooms and spinach. My husband had the chicken bunny chow with Biltong to start. My own starter was a sort of cheese toastie with a kind of spicy bean slaw. Washed down with water and two happy hour cocktails, it was delicious. We finished with a shared Malva pudding and the Boer answer to Baileys. This absolute feast came to the sum of £59.50, which was a bargain considering the amount of food and the quality of it. We will certainly return and are already telling our friends about it.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreCame here on Sunday, 19th March to celebrate our "Lost Mother's Day" as all three of us no longer have our mothers. We were unexpected treated to some live music accompaniment provided by the brilliant Danny Quinn whom we've seen three times at Stanley's in Bury. He was getting married the next day! He created a brilliant atmosphere which complimented our delicious food perfectly. This place never disappoints with its warm welcome. We even got free top-ups of our drinks because we were asked to move to another table as ours was booked for another sitting. The owner certainly knows how to treat his guests. Would never fail to recommend this fabulous restaurant to anyone.
Crowded House – BuryI visited the restaurant with two friends on Saturday 18th March. There was no problem with the standard of food or waiter service, but the tedious process employed to pay the bill nearly made us late for the concert. I should also add that I dislike being charged extra for service - the menu price should reflect the true costs of providing the meal. I shall consider these factors with care before booking in future
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreWent on mothers day . Sunday lunch tremendous value for money. Service excellent . Highly recommended
Panama Hattys Grill – PrestwichI came here for Mother's Day with my family, including my two year old niece. The staff were very accommodating of her and the food was excellent - gobi manchurian and the fish curry were particular highlights. I will return!
Mumbai Tiffin Room – ChorltonOur first time on Sunday……. We loved it! Staff, food, wine, singer were all fantastic!! We will defiantly be going again. Thank for for a lovely evening.
Crowded House – BuryFirst time attending to this really nice pub. But the service did lack! Was seated with the very high chairs and the high table. Wasn’t happy baring in mind we had kids! Booked the table for Mother’s Day a month ago! Not even sat down the lady had asked if we wanted drinks again just taking coats of she could have waited! Waited 15 mins to be served again which therefore took our drinks order but then hadn’t gave us kids menus nor any activity for the kids which they had! Food was excellent! Again after we wasn’t offered the desert menu and our deposit wasn’t taken off the bill again we had to ask! Child’s ice cream only came with one topping but it stated two topping had to ask! It was very nice but the service could be improved!
The Rising Moon – HydeHad Sunday lunch, it was ok nothing special. Beef was tough. Prices way over priced for a mediocre pub lunch.
The Rising Moon – HydeLovely food, really different choices. We loved sharing the street food options, but you can have main meals as well. Staff always helpful and friendly.
Amma’s Canteen – ChorltonExcellent as always. Never had a bad meal and the staff are all lovely and friendly
