Fat Loaf – SaleWe absolutely love this place!! It’s rare we get to go out and eat together but when we do get the opportunity, this is where we come everytime. Food is always fabulous as is the service. The staff are just so lovely and friendly. Cannot fault it! Wigan is very lucky to have such a gem of a restaurant.

The Drop Bar Cafe Restaurant – ChorltonI want to start by saying the food was lovely and our waitress was also wonderful and very knowledgeable and I would come back on another day to see how it is for a second time because of how lovely the food and waitress were. However, I've not rated it as highly as I would normally for 3 reasons: 1) They lost our booking/ someone didn't write it down. They did rectify this and still find us a table on a very busy evening. However, I'd booked this well in advance because I was on a strict time schedule (I'd allowed just over 90m for our meal for 4 people which should be very achievable). Unfortunately, sitting at the table 25m after arriving while they found us a table meant we couldn't even entertain a coffee or dessert after. 2) the time between starter and mains was over 30m, I assume because it was so busy and they weren't expecting us (not our fault) with 2 large parties in the restaurant, but again this compounded the fact that dessert/coffee wasn't an option. 3) A female member of staff (management/owner?) was openly very rude to our waitress at the bar we were sat next to when she was doing a wonderful job and that in turn made us all feel very uncomfortable.
L’Aquila Prestwich – PrestwichThis is my 3rd time coming and it does not disappoint. Staff are amazing, would recommend.
Sorella Restaurant – OldhamOne of the best Indian restaurants we've eaten in the UK. Fabulous good and friendly prompt service.
Arnero – Manchester City CentreThere was a great ambience in the restaurant. The food was very nice and the staff were lovely and very accommodating.
Panama Hattys Grill – PrestwichVery poor service from start to finish. We were sat down for 20 minutes and were ignored by the staff. We had to call someone over to order drinks and they had still not arrived by the time our food order was taken. The curry goat was full of bones. I have had curried goat many times and it is never served in this way. Any curried or stewed dish should be served bone free-apparently not here. Every piece of meet had a bone attached to it which made it difficult to eat. The beer I was served was terrible as well. At no point did any of the staff ask us if everything was alright or whether we had enjoyed our meal when plates were collected. We were told we had to pay at the bar and I was presented with a total figure on a screen without being shown a breakdown of costs. I asked if there was a service charge and for them to remove it from the bill and was not asked why. As we were leaving we advised some people looking at the menu outside not to go in as we had had such a bad experience. We have lived in Chorlton for four and a half years and eaten at various places in the area. This is by far and away the worst meal out we have had in this time. A real shame as this was a rare child free evening together. We will not be returning here again and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else.
The Drop Bar Cafe Restaurant – ChorltonGreat night out! Food was lovely. Attentive staff, nice place
L’Aquila Prestwich – PrestwichJust to say we really enjoyed our lunch with you ..it was tasty and the staff amazing ..it was first time my friend had been too. We will definitely come back x
Waggon and Horses – StalybridgeThe food was very tasty, particularly the goat curry but the service was slow (I would guess the focus was on setting up for later tables and that distracted from looking after the few tables who were in). We had a booking at 17:30, and at 18:15 we were told that we couldn’t order desserts (not enough time) and we would have to move for other bookings. I understand the January offer meant they were due to get busy later but at the time there were only 3 tables in, those later tables/busier period was clearly the priority. Reserved signs on other tables suggested they had a 90 minute window so unsure why we needed to leave after 45 minutes. This wasn’t a great way to end the meal and we left inclined not to go back again, even though the food was good, which is a shame.
