Papa Luigis – WiganWe enjoyed a meal on Saturday 24th August 2024. We were served by Grace who was friendly, helpful, efficient and funny! Although at 6.30ish, the place was quite busy , we didn't have to wait long for either drinks or food. The food was hot, and plentiful and as we had two friends with us who were visitors to our area it was nice to see that they were impressed. We will be visiting again!
The Rising Moon – HydeBeen coming to Anatolian for many years now and once again the great food together with exceptional wines provided the taste of Turkey without the need for a lengthy flight. Staff are friendly and accommodating particularly when chips are requested in preference to rice. Still exceptional value for money.
Anatolian Grill – PrestwichA fabulous welcome was given to us "non locals" and we were quickly made to feel right at home. Food was outstanding, being very creative with excellent flavours. Also a great choice of local craft beers and global wines are available. All of this at a very reasonable price, we will return.
Fat Loaf – SaleWe popped in for lunch on Sunday with my mother. Staff were friendly enough, though a little slow to take orders, despite being right at the start of lunch service. We all had a roast and had very mixed opinions on the food. Veg was very al Dante, which is just how I like it, though my partner prefers it done a bit longer. The meat we all agreed on. The chicken was tough and chewy and the lamb was just awful. Mother had one taste and left it on the plate. Mine was overcooked, tough and full of gristle. Very disappointed, especially as the lamb came with a price premium. Can't comment on dessert as we didn't bother staying for more. We would have raised the issues with the staff at the time, had anyone bothered to do a checkback.
The Rising Moon – Hydea last minute booking after a very wet camping weekend , booking online was so easy leading to being greeted by name at the door . Food and service exellent as always
La Sentidos Loca – WiganI’ve been coming here since 2019 quite frequent and every time it has been out of this world amazing food but unfortunately the last time we came might be just that, the last time. The menu has been minimised meaning all of the things we enjoyed weren’t on the menu anymore, we were offered an alternative but it was just bland and not similar at all, just a vibe killer. Such a shame because this was my favourite place and up to now haven’t had a bad experience but the changes have affected the place negatively and the vibe is just different now. So sad
La Sentidos Loca – WiganA lovely experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bubbles were flowing as promised and the food was good.
Panama Hattys Grill – PrestwichEveryone of the staff were hard working and constantly cleaning love this pub
The Rising Moon – HydeExcellent food excellent service as always
L’Aquila Prestwich – PrestwichWe had such a lovely, relaxing evening! The food was beautifully presented and delicious. The staff looked as though they were happy to be there and their service was exemplary. Our young grandson was well accommodated for and completely polished off his pasta and ice cream! Thank you!
L’Aquila Prestwich – Prestwich5 of us went for a family meal Saturday 7-15pm. Restaurant was busy, and there was a slight delay on ordering the food. But once the order was in, the starters came quickly , and the food was excellent , from starters to desserts. We all enjoyed , and it is great value for money! Steak Diane was great.
Papa Luigis – WiganUnfortunately, even though I have been a few times, tonight was my last. I tried ringing the restaurant around 6:30, tried twice, and had no answer. But this isn't a surprise as once I tried it about 10 times in a row and no one picked up and when I walked in it was dead.... anyway, so I went to book a table for tonight, and the website let me do it. It says on Google closes at midnight, but for the last table, it was 21:30. Well it's my mums birthday so I booked for 9 pm. Yes, I was 10 minutes late, but seeing as they never answer the phone, I cannot communicate this. Not only did I waste fuel for 14 miles but then to be turned away as the kitchen was closed. Surprising given the website let me book a table and Google says you close late..... also my mum hasn't tried this place and I kept hyping it up to my friends aswell. So you've lost customers through word of mouth. Considering on the strip it was the most dead place you'd think they'd have the custom.
The Drop Bar Cafe Restaurant – ChorltonLovely food, great service
The Pavilion – BoltonWe visited Gnammy for the first time on Saturday (24/08/24). One of our party is a coeliac so the provision of the extensive Gluten Free special menu makes for a relaxing worry free evening, this allied to the knowledge and care of the staff made our experience at Gnammy enjoyable and relaxing but above all everyone's food was excellent and really tasty. A family run restaurant, without being intrusive, you are made to feel really welcome. The atmosphere is very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.
Gnammy Italy – StockportFirst visit to Sorella. Was not disappointed. The food was delicious, the service excellent and great value for money. Will definitely be back and will recommend it .
Sorella Restaurant – OldhamFood was lovely as it always is. The service however was really poor. The place was virtually empty when we arrived but it still took 15 minutes to take our order. Plates were left for too long after we had finished our meal as the staff were all congregated around the bar talking to each other an on their phones. We weren’t even offered the opportunity to look at the dessert meal so made the decision to pay and leave. Was left waiting at the bar to pay while the girl behind the bar flirted with a ‘gentleman’ whose language was terrible. For the first time ever I did not leave a tip.
The Rising Moon – HydeWent with family to celebrate my birthday. Had a brilliant night. Food was excellent . Made to feel vey welcome . Not our first time ,won’t be our last .
