Dhoom Dhaam – DidsburyAnother lovely meal had. The first taste of their new menu and both my friend and I were so happy with both of our mains and deserts. Fantastic atmosphere, warm welcome and service. Excellent cocktails. One of my favourite places. It’s perfect for couples, families and groups of friends.
Crowded House – BuryFabulous meal and atmosphere as always
The Art of Tea – DidsburyNice relaxed atmosphere, very friendly staff, cocktails were really good and the food was delicious. Couldn’t fault it! Felt like I was back in Cape Town for the evening.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreWe’ve been to Anatolian over a dozen times since it opened and we all agree that we’ve never had a bad meal or experience there. The food is fresh, tasty, absolutely top notch and the service is brilliant - even when it’s really busy (which it often is). Also the staff are just great. Friendly, funny, welcoming.
Anatolian Grill – PrestwichFirst time at the fat loaf definitely won't be the last. Nice friendly atmosphere great food good selection of wine and very reasonably priced
Fat Loaf – SaleFriendly staff, clean and pleasant dining area. Food great and super value for money! Highly recommend either dining in or takeaway service!
Papa Luigis – Wigan6 of us dined on Friday 19th August. As usual the service and friendliness of the staff were second to none. The menu is more varied than most ‘run of the mill’ Italian restaurants with a few more unusual pasta dishes. The food, as always, was delicious, superbly cooked and plentiful. Superb restaurant and amazing value for money.
Papa Luigis – WiganWe love it at Gnammy, lovely relaxed atmosphere and great food. Good service from friendly staff, the pizza garlic bread starter half tomato half cheese is great to share leaving enough room for the delicious Cacciatora! Cannelloni also spot on!
Gnammy Italy – StockportLovely food and friendly efficient staff
Crowded House – BuryFriendly team made us welcome. Excellent menu, quality ingredients, well presented dishes. We enjoyed the bruschetta, calamari fritti, and the Vegetariana and Abruzzesi pizzas. Great quality, good value.
Papa Luigis – WiganI've been coming here for years, Food the cheese n onion pie I had wasn't great, pastry was burnt n hard and the cheese was peppery. I did complain (didn't get a discount) but dud have speak to someone who apologies Everybody else loved there's. TBH I don't normally have a big issue with the food will stick with my braised steak next time. Service is getting better now they've more staff.
The Rising Moon – HydeNeel Paneer is a great restaurant. Top host in Mo and excellent food. Surprisingly good drinks selection for an Indian restaurant too!
Neel Paneer – SaleSuperb. My only dilemma have cheese and onion pie or liver and onions !!! Next time I’m having the liver
The Rising Moon – HydeArnero has some really amazing indian food. Perfectly sized portions and super tasty with really good service from the staff.
Arnero – Manchester City CentreExcellent and friendly service. They atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. Food was delicious and good potion sizes. The pre-theatre menu is great value for money and there is a good choice of dishes. There is a good range of drinks on the menu too. Will definitely visit again.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreHave visited several times to get their amazing pizza as a takeaway. Really sad that they no longer sell via justeat / deliveroo / uber eats or similar because I'd definitely buy from them more often if I could get it delivered. Finally had an excuse to dine in a few weeks ago (28th July) and Paola was an amazing host - very friendly with my group and accommodating to their special requests. Was sad that her legendary Tiramisu was not available (that she'd boasted about on a previous takeaway visit), but all of the food was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed by the whole group. Sadly if I hadn't had those previous great experiences it would probably make my most recent visit (13th August) my last ever! Paola was not serving our table; the person who did struggled with most parts of the interaction. Not sure if she's new, had a bad day, or everything just stemmed from the menu change (happened between my visits), but we experienced glitches during taking our orders (e.g. asking for drinks orders before presenting the drinks menu; needing to come back and clarify what was ordered, and not recalling which 2 people - in a group of 4 - ordered items requiring cutlery changes) and generally very poor service compared to what I'd generally expect at any restaurant. It also took a long time to be able to submit payment (by card) after getting the bill, even though the restaurant was not busy. Overall the service experience was a big disappointment, especially when contrasted against Paola's. I was also left disappointed by the menu change itself. Although it's still packed with lots of tasty options it looks like they've had to cut down on portion size to avoid raising prices too much? It's a shame because I had practically the same order on both occasions, but the one from the new menu was an absolute shadow of its former glory both in terms of portion size and enjoyment; I noted that all members of my party during the latter visit were similarly disappointed by the sizes of their portions (2 of the 4 had not visited previously). Overall, the food here remains a culinary delight - even if it's not quite as awesome as it was. The service (from Paola and her family at least) is also great. But like all of us, they appear to be trying to find ways to make ends meet at the moment and that might negatively reflect on the end result? 2 things I'd love to see: - Let me place takeaway orders online via your website (even if I need to collect, it's way easier to place an order online than via phone) - Publish your menu on your website!
