Had a lovely evening on Friday with family. Food, cocktails and singer were amazing. Always a friendly atmosphere and staff are very welcoming and attentive.
Crowded House – BuryExcellent food and service. Portions are plentiful and prices are reasonable. Friendly staff but can get busy at weekends and possibly noisy at prime ''children times''. Would not be put off by that however and will continue to go back.
Cafe Italia – BoltonVisited on Sunday 26th. We didn’t have a table booked but when we walked in the place was dead with only a few tables taken. We asked for a table of 2 & the young lad said behind the bar that they were fully booked and they weren’t taking walk ins. We went to leave & I looked to see if I could book online and there was time slots available every 15 minutes all day. So I booked and went back in & they managed to seat us straight away funnily enough with all the empty tables they had! We waited for 20 minutes for someone to come over and take our order so we ended up going to the bar & someone came over. Whilst eating our main meal there was a couple of staff on their breaks and the chef said he couldn’t believe how dead they where today! I’m not surprised when they’re turning people away because apparently they’re ‘fully booked’ the food is really nice but the service is shocking, run by kids. It’s a shame it could be such a good place but let down by the front of house team.
The Boathouse Pub & Kitchen – WiganGreat and tasty food. Friendly and efficient staff. Good prices. You won’t be disappointed!
Cafe Italia – BoltonThe staff at the rising moon were all very polite and friend and gave amazing service. Lovely pub and lovely food
The Rising Moon – Hydehad a lovely meal yesterday, staff very helpful and friendly
The Rising Moon – HydeGood food somewhat spoiled by persons vaping at the next table. Quite loud and intimidating so nothing was said to them by me and my companion. We are non smokers or vapers so found it unbearable Email sent to management
The Boathouse Pub & Kitchen – WiganDelicious food, the Dosa was delicious, generous portions. Great service.
Amma’s Canteen – ChorltonI visited on the 24th June with 2 of my daughters 1 having additional needs they gave us a quiet corner. The food and service was fantastic. The portion sizes are very generous and the prices are very cheap. Will definatly be returning soon.
La Sentidos Loca – WiganOne of the best restaurants in Sale. Food is unreal and the staff are lovely
Fat Loaf – SaleA great evening - good food, good wine and the singer they had made the night!
Crowded House – BuryThe food was has always been good here. Having been here twice before with my English friends I recommended this place to my friends to my other 2 friends. However, upon our arrival at 5pm, and a member staff immediately learning that as practicing Muslim’s we would not be ordering wine/ alcoholic drinks (which means that the overall bill would not be high with diet cokes) he told us we did not have the table for long. We watched him serve other tables, who were ordering alcoholic drinks and there was no rushing them or telling them the time they had to leave upon arrival. We were constantly seen to by members of staff almost every 5 minutes to see if we needed anything else, more like eat up and go! The food I cannot fault having ordered starters and mains, but as there was no accompanying alcoholic drinks high in value and not on the bill we were not far from being escorted out of the restaurant. We moved on elsewhere and yes we did not order alcoholic drinks but we were not pushed out. I won’t be returning again. Very disappointed.
