We had a wonderful meal for my wife’s birthday recently and could not ask for more; the Sicilian food is truly excellent and the staff are lovely. One of our go-to restaurants.

Fourth visit - this time for a birthday celebration. Warm, attentive service. Lovely tasty food with local seasonal ingredients plus all the genuine Sicilian specials. A great treat!

As always, great food and service at Crowded house, looking forward to our next visit on Christmas eve.

An amazing restaurant! This is the 4th time we’ve been and we were made to feel very welcome by the whole team. Although the restaurant was nearly full, the friendly service was efficient and seamless. We decided that every time we are at the restaurant, we choose something different from the menu, and again, on this occasion, we were not disappointed …….. the food is second to none; you can feel the passion that goes into it. Thank you to the Chef and team, and Nicky and the team for making it a very special experience!

Lovely atmosphere and attentive staff, first visit and definitely not my last. We enjoyed a selection of tapas, portion sizes and quality of food was outstanding, especially the baked Camembert!! DELICIOUS. Thanks for a great festive lunch with friends

Excellent food and service. Would definitely recommend if either going to the theatre or a nice place to enjoy a celebration. We chose from the pre theatre menu and was very happy with the food we had. Good quality lovely food and lovely friendly efficient staff.

My fiance and I ate here on Saturday night and we were not dossapointed. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was just sublime. Simple delicious food and fantastic wine. What more could you want! The staff were attentive without being overbearing. We will definitely be returning!!

As always, wonderful Sicilian food served with efficiency and attentiveness. We had a meat-based focus this visit - the pork cheek antipasto was so tender and flavoursome. I had a veal chop and my companion had the lamb chops. Great portions which we did not finish so as to leave room for the dolce (the staff were happy to provide 'doggy bags' so we could take them home and chew on in the privacy of home, growling like dogs, which would be undignified in public). We always make sure to leave room for the wonderful selection of dolce. This has to be one of the best restaurants in Greater Manchester, IMHO.

As usual this wonderful restaurant served us a lovely meal last night. Despite concerns over Covid we felt very safe as it is always spotlessly clean, staff are very friendly, pay attention to safety and tables are well spaced. The extensive and very authentic menu offers incredibly good value and the quality of the food is always extremely high. We always feel we are in a lovely Italian trattoria . We’ll be returning as soon as we can. Definitely recommend.

Enjoyed a superb pre theatre meal at Gio yesterday. The food and service were both excellent. Would definitely recommend. Would definitely eat there again.
