Amazing food which all 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed. The staff here are a credit to the owners, waiting staff are so good. One of our group are Gluten free and they brought GF bread out without her asking. Easy to book on line and lovely ambience inside. Easily one of my favourite restaurants in Manchester/Bury.

Good atmosphere and nice decor. Service disappointing, food very good, some may find portions small for the price. Our booking was for Sunday at 6pm and initially we were only offered a limited, pre-theatre fixed price menu, two courses (starter and main) for £22. On request, we were given the à la carte menu, but told we could only order pasta or pizza. We felt prices were on the high side, but don't know how they compare with other city centre eateries. (I paid far less for similar in London in the summer. ) Re service, we had three different servers. I asked at least two of them for water for the table. I eventually got one glass. Water should be offered as standard. One server in particular seemed completely disorganised and inattentive. We gave up on anyone offering to bring the bill and I paid at the desk. It was only after we'd left that I realised a service charge had been added. Yes, I should have paid more attention, and asked gor the itemised bill, but even so in my view the customer should decide on the tip. As a guide, we had two pasta dishes, one dessert, a small and large wine at a cost of £65.

Once again outstanding Sunday roast at the fat loaf simply cannot fault the food service atmosphere simply as good as it gets and great value for money many thanks to Tim and staff for a very enjoyable experience

So pleased we’ve found this place! Food and drinks are delish, and the service superb. Rare to find mocktails as tasty as cocktails but they are here. And not overpriced like in the city. Portions are a tad big, so bring your appetite… but if you don’t manage everything they’re more than happy to do a doggy bag for you. all the staff are friendly and attentive - even opening the door for guests arriving & leaving; small touches that make a real difference and give a personal service. I’ll definitely be going back, in fact this is my new fave place!!

Our first visit, but it came recommended by a friend. We were not disappointed in the least. Service was excellent and friendly. The food was very good. Our only sight issue was that we were unable to select from the full alla carte menu. In our case this was understandable as we had booked at 1700hrs pre theatre and they were extremely busy. Very happy to visit again.

First visit to The Huntsman, won't be the last. The food was excellent, well cooked, very tasty. The service was excellent as well, even down to me grumbling about cloudy beer which was meant to be cloudy and it tasted good anyway! Definitely recommend people try!

What a gem of a place !!! The food , vibe and welcome is second to none .. The staff cannot do enough for you .. The dimly lit atmosphere and relaxing music just enhances this Indian restaurant.. I will definitely return ! Thank you Arnero so much for a super evening !❤️

Fantastic food as always. Party of 4 eating on a Friday night. We had booked and were seated pretty much immediately. It was busy but service was pretty good. We all had the meat banquet which was delicious. Not cheap but not ridiculous, you're looking at £30 for the cheapest bottle of wine.

me and my partner booked for a meal here on a saturday evening and it was amazing! the service was 10/10 the cocktails made at the bar were gorgeous and the food was such good value for money, great portions and always so delicious. After our meal we enjoyed some more drinks on the terrace where we were provided with blankets and the heaters were turned on. All the waiting staff are lovely. 100% would go back again.

Booked for a party of 6 family been a few times but this time was not the best was sat near the door very draft we had the set menu so had the chicken with mushrooms very watery no flavour my daughter had the same meal and asked for no mushrooms in hers was so lovely very creamy she enjoyed you do feel very rushed asked for water about 3 times and got it about 5 minutes before we left not sure we will be back ☹️

We had a pre theatre meal here on 26th November and thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent meal at a good price with friendly and efficient service. Only a few minutes walk from.the Palace Theatre so very convenient. Would certainly come again.

Great atmosphere. Had the pre theatre menu, good choice, something for every palette. Service was amazing, never felt as if we were being rushed.
