Excellent, we loved it. Good value for money and also something slightly different. Loved the decor and music.. lovely meal thank you!
Crowded House – BuryLovely restaurant and staff, very busy. My friend and I ordered a pizza and fries to share but unfortunately the pizza was very dry. It had very little tomato sauce on it for some reason. I did inform the waitress, who offered to change it but we said no as we had only had one piece and thought it might get better. We should have changed it because by the end of the pizza, it was difficult to eat. We were given a complimentary coffee at the end of the meal due to this. I would advise not to choose the Parma ham pizza.
Sorella Restaurant – OldhamLovely venue but disappointed with the food. Fish and chips were soggy and the Thai curry was very salty. We have visited before a few years ago and it was a lot nicer
The Windmill Parbold – WiganFabulous food here, music is great and the staff are so lovely. Would recommend and will be back again time after time as it’s just a great vibe and menu has something for everyone. Gracias!
La Sentidos Loca – WiganFantastic restaurant. Friendly, attentive waiters and waitresses, and really good food. The fillet steak was amazing.
Fat Loaf – SaleWe had a excellent meal on Friday 9th August and the service from the staff was first class.
Sorella Restaurant – OldhamWith delicious food, an obviously good chef and kitchen, and such a pleasant and efficient service staff, what more could you want? Oh, and very nice eating area too.
The Rising Moon – HydeWe are a small walking group of 4-6 who do a walk every Thursday in different places all over Lancashire. Our practice is to eat at, generally, the nearest pub after our walk. This was our first visit to The Windmill in Parbold. Would we eat here again? Yes. Service was prompt and cheerful. Two of us were interested in the flat iron steak and were informed up-front by the friendly waitress that it was not a tender steak. We chose it nonetheless. She was right. One medium-rare and one medium were both chewy but still reasonably tasty, served with a delicious peppercorn sauce. Others had the fish and chips which were excellent. The slider bars for rating food, service, atmosphere and value for money only seem to go up in increments of 2.5, 3.5, 4.5 & 5.5. Our ratings are 4.
The Windmill Parbold – WiganThis was our second visit in the past two weeks on Thursday. 8th August. My brother in law accompanied us this time & he thoroughly enjoyed the food, the price & the wonderful staff. We travel over 40 miles so it must be good.
Waggon and Horses – StalybridgeI booked a table here after positive feedback from a family member who visited before. We were not disappointed! The welcome was warm & friendly, the restaurant is modern with nice decor. My friend & I ordered starters, chaat & a main to share. The food was tasty with good sized portions. The staff were attentive and helpful. Restaurant became quite busy for mid-week but in the heart of Didsbury Village, that's not surprising. A lovely evening with 25% off the bill in August was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for good North Indian cuisine.
Bardez Didsbury – DidsburyWent on a Wednesday evening with 3 friends. Food was very good, service was excellent. Food is not cheap but worth every penny. Always enjoy eating here.
Anatolian Grill – PrestwichLovely birthday meal plenty of variety. Our waitress couldn't have been more helpful. Overall rating excellent.
The Rising Moon – HydeHad the Sunday Dinner was really nice ,service was excellent food was nice and hot ,nothing bad to say .
The Rising Moon – HydeI always love visiting The Windmill. Such a beautiful setting. However I felt like my visit last night was a little of a letdown. We were booked in for 7.30 which I appreciate is the last sitting however I felt like we were continuously rushed. We hadn't even sat down when we were asked what we wanted to drink. No wine menu was offered. I had to ask. The Sunday Lunch was lovely. I then had the Lemon Creme Brulee which disappointingly was incinerated on the top when it arrived. It was burnt to a cinder which left me to leave my dessert. It won't put me off from returning as its always been a firm favourite but these little things add up to the overall experience.
The Windmill Parbold – WiganOur first visit since the restaurant refurbishment/change of name. The service was fantastic, friendly, generous and professional. The portions were substantial and quality of the food excellent. Thanks to all the staff for a very enjoyable evening
Neel Paneer – SaleThis was a recommendation from a friend, for a family meal. I’m so glad I booked. Lovely food, lovely atmosphere, very efficient and friendly staff.
Sorella Restaurant – OldhamWe have dined here 3 times in the last 6 weeks, we enjoy it so much. Celebrated 2 birthdays and just went on our own for a quiet meal. Really nice food , friendly staff and its prices are reasonable for the attentiveness you will receive. Love it , can’t wait to go again.
