Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreGreat service and fantastic food. As an expat you don’t realize how much you miss your “home” food. We definitely plan on visiting once a month.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreThe food and service were very good. I have only marked it down for atmosphere because we were in the back room which felt rather subterranean!
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreWe arrived in good time, the place was completely packed no empty tables. I gave my name and we were shown to the bar to wait. More people were coming in who had also prebooked a table, it was quite crampted, A couple came in gave there name, and the waiter came to us and said i felt accusingly that their name was Wood the same as ours, as if i was lying about our reservation, how would i know someone elses booking. A table came available, i asked if it was for us, he said no, i reminded him that our booking was for 6pm, which we were past, we got the table. We would have been better going to pizza hut, the food was not that good, it was expensive i will not be going back.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreI love this place it’s really good food the staff are brilliant and so cheap
Cafe Italia – BoltonLooking at other reviews, maybe it was just a bad night,( Friday evening). Food was superb, however the service was too slow. Not blaming the staff,( who were excellent , professional and apologetic), however we had to cut the visit short at the 2 hour mark. Would visit again as food was excellent and maybe it was just a one off,( and everywhere deserves a second chance)
Anatolian Grill – PrestwichRecently visited here for the third time with my husband. Food excellent as always, highly recommend the arancine. Next time I will be skipping the starter in order to try the puddings though, as I'm usually far too full for both! Staff always so helpful and pleasant, it's a pleasure to visit this cosy restaurant. Lovely to see the chef regularly doing the rounds too to make sure food is to everyone's tastes. Definitely book a table in order to avoid disappointment. Also not the cheapest of places but absolutely worth the money.
It was OK. Pre Theatre menu. Looks reasonable but with a couple of sides, drinks and one dessert soon racked up to £85 which wasn’t quite so reasonable for a pasta meal. The 10% service charge is not acceptable. The service was ok so I didn’t feel like I should challenge it, and I would have tipped, but feel it is cheeky ! We went there because we thought it would be cheaper than San Carlo. I wish I paid the few pounds extra for better food and experience!

Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreThe food is amazing! Best I've had in a long while. The service is also fantastic and you're never left waiting for longer than necessary. Very friendly also.
Anatolian Grill – PrestwichI visited Chakalaka over the weekend, and what a joy it was for me as an expat Saffa. Got my favourite Hunters Dry, biltong, droewors and other yummy dishes in a nice relaxed atmosphere. The venue itself was comfy and quirky and the service great. I am sure some of the classic recipes will not satisfy every person, but we loved it and ate WAYYYY too much!!
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreWe really enjoyed our meals (two carvery dinners, one vegetarian, and two options of the main menu) at the Fairview Inn. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good value for money.
Fairview Inn – RochdaleWe went for dinner to celebrate partners birthday, staff was amazing nothing to much trouble and was was brilliant and great value for money 2 courses for £13.95 and they weren’t little portions either
La Sentidos Loca – WiganFood quality excellent as always but the wait time to be seated was a bit ridiculous. Booked a table for 7:30 and didn’t get seated until 8. We received our starters relatively quickly but then had to wait an hour for our mains to come and some of the food was forgotten. They did give us some free onion bhajis and chips as well at of apology.
The Naz – MontonAlways a welcoming atmosphere here with a personal touch. Food has never failed to be anything but great.
The Naz – MontonEverything about this place is amazing. The food was incredible and the staff were so friendly. A superb restaurant and it’s outside of the city centre. We can’t wait to go again!
