Giorgios – Manchester City CentreAnother great pre-theatre dinner at Gio's.....superb service and great food...even managed a pudding!!
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreSecond visit in one week; absolutely love this restaurant. Excellent service and very tasty food and cocktails! Great value for money. As a South African I would highly recommend Chakalaka.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreWe have been here several times pre show as menu is really good as they do a pre show menu !!! Staff are lovely and are really friendly! Nothing is too much trouble!!! Food has always been excellent!!!
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreFood was amazing, went with my SA partner and we were really impressed! Really good service and good food. What else can you ask for.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreVisited this restaurant for the first time a couple of weeks ago and it is now my favorite restaurant. The explosion of flavours in your mouth whilst you are eating their food is amazing . The staff are really friendly and helpful, they guide you through the menu if you have not been before. Have booked again for my birthday, can't wait!
Mowgli – Manchester City CentreVery very average, for rather above average prices. Pizzas and garlic bread warm enough but not hot, an untrimmed mushroom with soil/compost on the base of the stem (I reported this to staff but nothing was done) and a pre theatre menu that was really very uninspiring. Lovely serving staff but we'll find somewhere else for pre concert food next time.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City Centreexcellent
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreVery disappointing. Three of us went for a pre-concert early meal. One of us was French, from the food capital of France, and we were so ashamed to have taken her to Gio's. First, they got the order wrong for one of us. Secondly - unimaginative undercooked vegetables accompanied a piece of sea bass drowned in a reddish coloured sauce of unidentifiable flavour. Thirdly, we ordered dessert for one of us and coffee for three. The coffee arrived, but no dessert. We had to ask twice what had happened to it before it eventually arrived, long after we had drunk our coffee. We were met with uncomprehending looks when we enquired about it. And before even the coffees arrived we were presented with a bill, probably somebody else's. Service was, to say the least, confused, sometimes sullen. I got the impression that the servers' English could not cope . Needless to say, we will not be going there again
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreFirst visit to Giorgios. Staff very attentive & nice ambiance in the restaurant. Food was ok, but not the quality i had expected. At £20 per main (Ravioli & a Chicken Breast with a few vegetables) this was overpriced. £65 for two main courses & a bottle of wine (incl tip). I do not find this a fair price for dinner, to leave hungry. Would not return.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreWe booked our table in advance and when we arrived at the restaurant it was almost full, which was reassuring as it was our first time eating out in Manchester. Staff were friendly and attentive, we were served promptly and food arrived fresh and hot. Our starters of chicken wings and garlic and tomato bruschetta was delicious. Our mains of pollo a la crema were very generous portions with fresh steamed veg were very tasty. We had ice cream a little later for dessert this wasn't rushed and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were chatty and wished us well as we left. I would absolutely recommend Gio's, it was a relaxed and inviting atmosphere and we felt very welcome there. We will definitely return if we are back in Manchester again.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreFirst time visit. Had lovely evening food & device was great. Very friendly staff
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreWe enjoyed our evening meeting up with old friends. Food was good and service excellent. As it was quiet on a Tuesday we were able to linger chatting.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreThe food was lovely and the service was very attentive . Will definitely come again.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreGreat service and food. The Bunny Chow was amazing. Great value at £10 and huge portions. Looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended.
Chakalaka – Manchester City Centre1st time visiting Gio’s & it didn’t let me down. The food is simply stunning, proper flavours. It’s very reasonably priced in my opinion. Service was fast & efficient Had a fantastic evening
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreReally nice restaurant environment. With excellent service and a great choice on the menu the food was spot on., we were all pleased we chose Giogrios for our meal.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreExcellent food in an excellent setting. The waiters and waitresses were very polite and attentive and the food was brilliant. Giorgio’s is my favourite restaurant - classy yet affordable. I love the bar at the end of the room from which you can order a drink after drink even long after you finished your meal and I really love the fact that the restaurant is downstairs which means you don’t have the distraction of people walking past and staring at you.
