We had a roast dinner here last Sunday. The staff were really friendly and we had one of the best Bloody Mary's we've tasted in a long time. Really good value at £7.50. We both had the roast beef and the honey glazed chipolatas. The roast is a good-sized portion with a nice selection of veggies. Unfortunately, we felt the beef was over-cooked, sliced too thick making it tough and almost tasted steamed rather than roasted. I think we were given end pieces as well which was disappointing. The chipolatas were also not great, lacking colour and tasted a bit like cheap sausage, to be honest. Finally, and this is a pet peeve and not unique to here, throughout our entire meal at peak lunchtime there was a member of staff cleaning and sorting cutlery. It's loud to the point of being obnoxious and ruins what would otherwise be lovely ambience.
