Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreThis is a great place to enjoy Pub food. Sunday carvery is the delightful experience you can enjoy. Portion is good, second helpings offered for the big ones. Choice is delightful. I have been here many times with our friends and relations. I am looking forward to a late lunch today. I know in my dreams I shall not be disappointed. Hope we get a table close to the railway line! You can witness a goods train crossing if you are so lucky! Cheers.
Cheshire Line Tavern – CheadleBeen here quite a few times over the years for a pre or post theatre meal. As always the food, service and atmosphere was excellent.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreAbsolutely wonderful food could not fault a thing. Excellent service too. Definitely be going back. Can highly recommend
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreAuthentic Persian cuisine, absolutely delicious!! The restaurant has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and very family friendly. Staff are lovely too!! Will definitely be back again soon.
Braza – BoltonWent for a pre theatre meal on a Friday night. Very very very disappointed that we were only able to order from the pre theatre menu, instead of the a la carte. There was very little choice. Won't go again. Back to Don Giovanni's where you can order whatever you want.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreFantastic food, excellent service and great atmosphere. We have frequently dined at lunchtime before a matinee at the Palace theatre, this time we chose to dine after the show - as always the service was excellent and the food was amazing. This restaurant really is a "gem" - cannot recommend highly enough. Glad we booked the table as it is really popular, but despite being busy they manage to retain the personal feeling.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentrePerfect service, food excellent and promptly served. Nice atmosphere, staff very polite, attentive without being intrusive. Would definitely eat here again if the opportunity arose.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreAttended Gios on Monday 25th March 2019 at 5pm. We had the pre theatre menu . The food was cold on arrival and due to it being a show night I felt that we were rushed out as tables were required. I felt that the food was of a very poor standard, pre cooked and heated as it didn't take long to arrive. I also took objection to the fact that the service charge was automatically placed on the bill- this should be optional. The bill was expensive enough without an extra £7.40 being added. Really disappointed.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreTop end meat house! in a quiet part of Bolton.
The Meating – BoltonThe best hotel in Manchester and one of the best restaurants too! Love it here, never fails to disappoint!
The River Restaurant at The Lowry Hotel – Manchester City CentreGreat atmosphere, fun restaurant. Shared 5 small dishes which were different and delicious. Highly recommend.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreHave eaten several times at Gio's and have never been disappointed - good lively Italian atmosphere, always busy, and the staff are friendly, courteous and very efficient. Pre-booked our table on-line a week before to avoid disappointment and no problems. Pre-theatre meal - Food great (minestrone soup particularly liked by Dad- best he has had for years!) and service to match - we will be back again - thank you.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreBeen to GIO'S many times and even at peak times service is always excellent and food fresh and tasty. Last night we opted for the pre-concert menu. The salmon was superb, likewise the accompanying sauce. An excellent meal. Staff are always accommodating and efficient.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreA great bar on Deansgate with a great atmosphere!
Manahatta – Manchester City CentreMeal great had to ask 5 times for the bill and no one explained where it was
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreWe accidentally booked 2 tables online - a miscommunication - and tried to cancel one. No luck, no one was answering the phone. When we arrived we apologised for the mistake and were tutted at, then told off by the boss man because he said he'd had to turn people away. We pointed out that we had tried to ring but he was very rude, said there was no one there in the afternoon. Consistently horrible to us. We only stayed because we needed a pre-theatre meal and there wasn't time to go anywhere else. The rest of the staff were delightful and the food was good, but this one nasty individual spoiled the visit for us.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreBooked online a table for two in February, for a 6.30pm meal on Friday 15th March. Expected to be able to go for a nice quiet evening meal. Arrived about 6.10pm. Horrified when got in, as place was absolutely packed, others waiting, servers rushed off their feet, and no tables available. Had a printout of my booking to show them. Assured by owner (?) that we would get our table. But had to stand and wait - husband had to sit up a corner - and waited until the last second of 6.30pm to get to a table. Very noisy and frenetic atmosphere and did not feel welcome. Food very good (able to choose from set menu till 6.45pm), and was generous and nicely cooked though. If we ever go again, we wont choose a Friday night, or we will make sure we dont go until after 6.45pm!
