Thaikhun – SpinningfieldsOh my. This lovely restaurant set at the side of the canal is a little gem in the centre of monton. Myself and 3 friends went for a meal on a Thursday evening 11th sept. Wow the service was excellent, the waitress was very accomodating with our meals if we didn't want one thing she offered to change it for something different. Our meal was of top standard and not overly expensive. If you're looking for something a little different but a little special, this is definitely the place
Cromptons @ The Waterside – EcclesVery poor take away service with orders in correct. Owner then lies and has very poor excuses. Meals ruined awaiting to complete orders. Tries to blame delivery driver for his own incompetence and ignorance
Indian Plaza Restaurant, Bar and Takeaway – AudenshawWas sent Special fried rice for delivery. Opened it to find absolute miniscule amount of meat in the dish. Basically I just paid nearly £6 for rice!!!!!!!! Phoned them up and was told in a condescending way thats "thats how special fried rice is done" Like i was some idiot who has never had the dish before. Cutting corners on quality and ingredients but still charging premium prices stinks to high hell. They were not helpful one little bit, did nothing to try and solve the problem. I was just fed a "like it or lump it" attitutde. Definitely will NOT be spending my hard earned cash at this rip off merchant again. I advise anyone thinking of ordering from here to double check your orders before you leave the shop to make sure you havent been fleeced like I was.
Oriental Express (Northenden) – NorthendenBeen going to standard for over 20 years whilst I don't eat indian food I am always happy with English menu. My wife always want to go back for her Indian dishes for the place itself. Well done for change of décor nice clean staff always make you welcome.
Standard Indian Restaurant – UrmstonMy cousin suggested George's for quick lunch we both ordered from the lighter Menu. I can honestly say it was the best Advocado salad ever tasted. The staff were very attentive the prices very reasonable. Will be back next time in the evening and hopefully have time for main course.
Georges Restaurant – WorsleyWhat a great find! We've lived in Elton for a week, and thought we'd check this place out for a takeaway. Staff couldn't be more helpful, and the food was amazing. Well worth a visit.
Ruposhi Indian Restaurant – BuryHorrible and cold food. Visited 08/09/14 for my birthday meal. We ordered chicken wings for starters they arrived wittiin minutes and were cold and came on a sizzling platter with raw onions. For mains my husband ordered a burger which had lamb, chicken and beef and I ordered a t bone ranch style steak. Was looking forward to it but when it arrived everything was like warm and did not taste very nice at all. For sides I ordered veg and roast pots. They veg was cold and tasted like they had been in the freezer and boiled and the potatoes were equally horrible. The steak had hardly any meat on. It was very fatty and tasted sweet. Disgusting. My husband burger felt like leftovers for the filling. The beef burger was cold and crunchy and the lamb had no taste. It was disgusting. I paid so much money for horrible food and my birthday was ruined. Never going there again
Ranch – RusholmeWe visited Chaobaby/Trafford Centre last week & it was fantastic. We had the all you can eat option & I would pay the £12.95 just for the chicken soup. All the food we had was delicious and I would strongly recommend going there :-)
Thaikhun Street Buffet – Trafford CentreGreat lunch today at Choaphraya Manchester.
Chaophraya – Manchester City CentreI'm so disappointed with my visit to George,s , the meal was awful and very pricey .
Georges Restaurant – WorsleyFirst time at Istanbul Grill for my mums 60th. Had a fantastic night! Food was amazing and staff were very helpful!! Definitely recommended, this place has a brilliant atmosphere!
Istanbul Grill – UrmstonLovely restaurant very cosy friendly and excellent service. The food was lovely I would definitely recommend if visiting manchester.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreI recently celebrated getting promoted with an afternoon tea at Georges. It was a wonderful dinning experience, both in ambience and eating. The staff were warm and nothing was too much trouble, even though they seemed to be very busy. I think some people forget that restaurants provide a service which we pay for and we aren't doing them a favour by being there. The way some customers speak to some restaurant staff is disgusting. They ought to remember how they would feel if it were their son or daughter who were being spoken to in such a manner. Keep up the good work, chefs and waiting staff alike!!!
Georges Restaurant – WorsleyMe and my girlfriend were looking for somewhere different to try for my birthday and, after hearing good things about Solita, we thought we'd give it a go. We went on a Monday night and was pretty surprised to find that it was really busy. We were greeted by a polite waitress who quickly escorted us to our table. Whilst deciding what we wanted to order we could help but notice another waitress carrying food who appeared to have lost her table. This happened numerous times during our visit. We order two burgers and two beers. They came pretty quickly and we set about tucking in, only for my girlfriend to find a dead fly in squashed on hers. I called the waitress over who was horrified at the news and quickly took the burger back to the kitchen. A few minutes later she returned with a fresh, fly-free, burger. The burger was taken off the bill and although feeling slightly sick about the matter we're pretty sure this was a one-off. The restaurant dealt with the situation really well. Apart from the fly incident, the burgers were fairly good. However they seemed to lack something special that other burger places in Manchester have.
Solita Bar & Grill – Manchester City CentreAppalling service, they served my 3 year old son whole peppercorns under his peas, the meal was chosen from the "little ducklings" menu for children. When I complained that my sons mouth was burning, I was told "whatever" by the most senior adolescent working there. Do not eat or take your children there, shocking customer service and disgusting attitudes.
The Strawbury Duck – BoltonVisted the restaurant recently what an awful expereince!! The " restaurant" resembles a 1980s style bus station cafe dirty pots on tables included in the price serving over priced bland out dated food - the cake could have doubled up as a bouncy ball it was so stale and dry!!! served by pompous patronising counter staff (laughable given the enviroment) Zero rating would not recommend.
John Lewis Cafe – Trafford CentreFour of us went there for a meal last night but deeply disappointed with the waiter's attitude when we asked for the password to access the wifi . The waitress was too busy talking and we have to wait for them to clear the table after the starters, the service is terrible !! Two of us left without the main course ...strongly NOT recommended.
