Nandos is a great concept that seems to suit all ages and backgrounds. This particular Nandos was packed and not in the best spot in the Trafford centre. That aside a great lunch to fuel up after shopping!

Nando’s – Trafford CentreI think its the best curry house in our locality. The taste of the curries are fantastic and the chutney's with poppadum is excellent!!!! Staffs are very friendly....
Red Lounge – AudenshawIt is the best tasting curry I have had in manchester for a long time. Used to go from cholrton to the Great Katmandu as thought that was the best, now just pop in here as it is round the corner. Goat curry delicious. Order well in advance as it takes some time to make them which is a good sign. Really really good. Found by accident.
Tandoori Flame – ChorltonOne of the best restaurants in Manchester. We were a party of 20 and we had an amazing time. Food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We will be holding our business lunches here no doubt. The whole experience was just amazing including the light decor, very refreshing indeed.
Avalanche Restaurant – Manchester City CentreI tried the Dover sole, which was amazing and so juicy. The great thing was the bill. It only cost me £16.00 for the Doversole . Greay value for money and an amazing deco
Avalanche Restaurant – Manchester City CentreGreat food and fantastic service, and the restaurant has an amazing interior.
Avalanche Restaurant – Manchester City CentreWent there for lunch with my boyfriend, and we both loved the food. Very attentive waiters, food came fast, nice and relaxing deco. Will definitely come back and I do highly recommend it!
Avalanche Restaurant – Manchester City CentreDelicious food and fantastic service. Went on Saturday, restaurant was packed and everyone seemed to have a brilliant time. There are 3 bars in the restaurant and ambience is fantastic.
Avalanche Restaurant – Manchester City Centresevice terrible, food awful. Walked out in disgust after 1.5 hours. Avoid
Avalanche Restaurant – Manchester City CentreCame here on a nights Christmas Do...... sorry but no Christmas atmosphere with the music as it is Christmas.... and as for the meal... lovely presentation ... but sadly not the meal to follow and as for paying £14.95 for a steak with so much grisley bits on a bed of soggy oven chips and a over cooked vine of cherry tomatoes served on what look like I can only say a pavement from my garden .... so come on people whoever you are that run this (what can I say.... upmarket shallow haunt who think they are in the in the right place to be and pay these high prices for a bit of presentaion on a slab )..... go home and cook a decent meal yourself... failing that go to your nearest chippy for a third of the price........
The White Room – WhitefieldGood food, shame about everything else.Disclaimer: This review is entirely regarding how we were treated on a works Christmas do. I cannot comment with regards to a small group, but as a large pre-booked group I can only describe our experience as appalling. Getting the positives out of the way, I can only say that the food was very good, however everything else about our evening was terrible. For £35 I would have expected a lot more on our respective plates, however for them to attempt to add on an extra £50 to the agreed bill because 3 of our group had a vegan option is out of order. The fee was agreed several months in advance and this was dropped on us after we had already eaten. Only when we complained to whom I assumed was a manager was this waived. Drinks in the place are extortionate. £110 for a bottle that'd cost you £30 or less in a supermarket. Post meal they attempted to move us to some kind of "VIP area" (via me because I am a manz and not the women who had actually arranged everything, but had the audacity to try and complain that they were trying to shaft us), because, hey other paying customers were more important or something, we politely told them that we were leaving. In short the food I cannot fault however meager the portions were; everything else I would avoid at all costs.
Vermillion – MostonWent for lunch with my father and stepmother and it was a perfect afternoon. Service was perfect and food was exceptional. We all had the 3 course lunch menu and everything was perfection on a plate, the 3 cheese pie was exceptional and a must try! All in all a very enjoyable afternoon, perfect food and relaxing surroundings. Will be trying the evening selection soon!
Annies Restaurant – Manchester City CentreI've been to a few Indian restaurant and curry houses in Didsbury and Chorlton and can honestly say That Tandoori Flame offered the best tasting food of the lot. I couldn't believe the quality of the food for the price. (it was actually fair) I think the Chef and front of house staff must have good hearts. couldn't recommend it enough. beautiful food.
Tandoori Flame – ChorltonWent in with a group party, food was the best tapas I have had and service was great.
Ambiente – WorsleyQuite possible the most unhelpful and unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Not only do they not take payments on time and leave you in limbo but they do not offer refunds or any form of appeasement for guests who are unable to attend due to ill health. I bought a trip for my aunt who was taken ill with serious influenza and hospitalised the night before only to be told that "She didn't ring and there's nothing we can do!" This is quite possibly the most atrocious customer service I have ever come across! Avoid this company!
City Centre Cruises – Manchester City CentreWent for lunch here on saturday. We were greeted very warmly and even though the signage said they stopped serving lunch at 2pm we were accomodated with no fuss at all just after. The decor is very cosy and because the main dining area is downstairs we almost felt like it was evening. The food was very good, tasty and well portioned. We had home made pies for the main course, one was 3 cheese and onion and the other Chicken, leek and black pudding. Both were very good, warm filling and just the right size for lunch. The only slight criticism could be that we were often left alone in the dining room with no staff on hand for more drinks, to take dessert orders, or get the bill for us. It was very relaxed and in the evening this would have been great but for a lunchtime it was just a bit too relaxed as we had other things to do for the rest of the day. Overall this was a great experience and I would recommend everyone to try it out. The food was great and the welcome we received was second to none! I hope this place does well though as the owners were so nice!! Good luck Chris and Jenny!!
Annies Restaurant – Manchester City CentreI went to Avalanche on Wednesday and had seabass while my husband had steak. The food was great and the restaurant interior is light and bright and very beautiful. I will be booking here for Xmas and I would recommend it strongly!!!
Avalanche Restaurant – Manchester City CentreI ate there last night. They said that the two for one deal was not on in December so I had to pay the full price even though it's advertised on Sugarvine. Bit of a swizz. Also the food was not great - chips overcooked, fish over-battered ! I gather they have now been taken over by Holts so hopefully things will improve. It also smells of dogs.
