Try Thai – Manchester City CentreMy husband and I stayed for one night at The Waggon Inn recently. The room was very clean and bright, fairly spacious and had everything you need (although you might want to specify a room with a bath as opposed to just a shower). Although we didn't have a meal there as we were meeting up with friends in the village, we enjoyed our breakfast - in particular the good quality bacon and sausages - and the restaurant is attractively decorated. The owner, Adrian, is really friendly and welcoming - the perfect person to be in charge of a pub. If the public rooms were as nicely decoarted as the restaurant and the bedroom (they are fairly basic), The Waggon Inn would be even better than it already is!
Waggon Inn – SaddleworthDO NOT bother eating in at this place, we ate here on friday night and waited over two hours for our main courses and they still missed 2 people out when they eventually arrived. Seems like the takeaway side of the business is prioritised over the restaurant. Would never go back.
Dalat – NorthendenThis restaurant is the best Chinese that I have been to in Manchester and such friendly staff!
Chung Ying – SalfordMy father and I went to Zaytoon for the first time last night and it was gorgeous. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and the food was incredible. We are already planning on going back for more.
Zaytoon – ChorltonHello everyone, this is Manchester united's striker Wayne, i have been to the fine family lodge Indian restaurant in stockport and it was a beautiful experience. Had a Vindaloo it was the best curry in the world and exceeded the high standards i have always kept. i recommend this place to my fellow united team mates and to the rest of the world!!!!
Family Lodge Indian Restaurant – StockportBrilliant Place and Staff. Food was exceptional, great tasting and well made. waiter's were patient and polite. worth a visit.
Akbars – Manchester City Centreexcellent meal with a verry fusy eating family and our special needs person excellently catered for ,this was meal no 3 and will be having many more meals in the future .
Saray Cafe Bar – ChorltonVery disappointing evening. We took a client from Poland and it was hugely embarrassing - the waitress clearly had no idea what she was doing. Every meal arrived with the wrong accompaniments. The restaurant couldn't offer coffee as the coffee machine hadn't arrived and they only had "decaf" instant. They also had no cream. Doubtful that we will visit again.
Rivington Pub and Grill – HorwichFabulous cafe, hot carvery sandwiches, also sell ciabatta bread and lemon cheesecake and WONDERFUL tiramisu to take away.Excellent value for money.
Katsouris – Manchester City CentreHave to concur with the other reviews -- had an outstanding meal here last Friday to celebrate my birthday. Atmospheric in a very laid back way, attentive and firiendly staff, beautiful French food and a good French wine list. Although our mains (fillet of beef and the signature 63 degrees chicken) were very good, the starters were outstanding - I had snails off the specials board (imported from Burgundy, apparently) any my wife an intense asparagus risotto which she hasn;t stopped raving about. Complemented by a lush 2007 Vacqueyras. If you are visiting Manchester, highly recommended..
63 Degrees – Manchester City CentreValue for money and I am a regular customer, unfortunately twice I was refused to be served the ultimate breakfast which is clearly shown on the menu.
The Red Lion (Stonehouse Pizza & Carvery) – SwintonWe have been eating at this restaurant for many years. always good service, excellent authentic regional dishes. good range of wines. warm welcoming atmosphere. Would recommend this place to anyone who appreciates cuisine from all regions of Italy.
