Sykes Fish and Chip Shop Cafe – SwintonWe went to this restaurant with a large family group of 10 people. The service was excellent, the food was served promptly, with an enjoyable period between each course. The wine selection was also very good and the prices were extremely reasonable. I would have no problem in recommending this restaurant to anybody.
Ciao Baby – BoltonHad Sunday lunch in the jockey a couple of times recently and hasn't been that great personally. ordered the 'sirloin' at £5 extra and it was 3 very thin pieces of sirloin which had no chance of being done rare as asked. definitely not worth the extra. Beer is very good in there but found the Sunday lunch not that great personally. not enough gravy either!
Horse and Jockey – ChorltonThis place is fantastic, I have never had Lamb like it. The service is attentive but its the food that you really have to go for. Amazing. Go!
Saray Cafe Bar – ChorltonI regularly eat at the bilash both in the restaurant and take away and the food is fantastic However i am very disappointed with the service tonight. They tried to bring the main meal before the poppadoms were finished, missed the starter we ordered and got the order wrong The restaurant is all about turn over and despite being a regular they let themselves down tonight I will be looking for an alternative from now on so if anybody can recommend a decent Indian local to Swinton then let me know
Bilash Balti House – SwintonThank you for the thoughtful comments,, will make sure baklava is available from now on ,, xxxxxx George
Zaytoon – ChorltonI visited yesterday, it was my first visit to Salford Quays and ultimately first to any Bella Italia. I found this restaurant very welcoming. The meal was very tasty and full of flavour and despite the issue of no peppers or cannelloni the variable menu meant that this wasn't a problem The service was brilliant and the wine choices were so descriptive that I tried the Grillo which I've never had before. I will definitely add this as one of my favourite places to visit again.
Bella Italia – Salford QuaysFour of us went to ruposhi for a take away had a drink to waite when we got the food home everybody said the food was first class the best i have had off to Goa soon going to take a menu and ask a local restaurant to copy some dishes the prices where very cheap even for the drinks staff are friendly the decor nice and bright its a credit to the staff and management
Ruposhi Indian Restaurant – BuryFantastic service, food and atmosphere. Will no doubt be going to eat at Zaytoon again -Rhianon
Zaytoon – ChorltonExcellent Indian cuisine with great service. The new extension that has doubled the size of the restaurant has only increased the ambiance of the place. I can fully recommend Fish tikka starter followed by the chicken Jal Fresi. All very reasonably priced.
Basmati Restaurant – WiganRefreshingly relaxed and informal atmosphere, with attentive staff and straightforward but excellent freshly made healthy food. The only caveat would be the lack of desserts, some baklava would have been perfect! Recommended.
Zaytoon – ChorltonWe've been to the restaurant a few times now (and tried the takeaway too). Really nice food and great service. Try the mussels for starter - a bit spicy , but very tasty. Or the mixed starter to try out some different choices. Lots of options for main, depending on your taste. We had a fishetarian and a carnivore in our party and there were plenty of options for both. Lots of veggie options too. Give it try - you won't regret it.
Just Thai @ The Village – UrmstonMy partner and I have been to this restaurant numerous times. The food is exceptional every time and well worth a visit. If you go before 7pm or 6pm on the weekend they have a great offer on the 2 or 3 courses. Duran is a really nice owner he greets all guests even if he is in the kitchen and this really adds value to the experience. I would strongly recommend giving this place a go you will not be disappointed.
Saray Cafe Bar – ChorltonThe king George serves excellent food throughout the day and is value for money.I have also watched some brilliant bands in the pub, my favourite being Boomin.Would definitely recommend it.
The Famous King George – Oldhamabsolutely lovely, would recommend to anyone, (especially the szechuan ribs) the food is gorgeous *****
Blue Diamond Restaurant – RochdaleHaving recently eaten at the Church Inn, I could not sing its praises any more. Excellent food, giving you an extensive range to choose from and with 3 courses (generous courses at that) for £11.95 brilliant value for money. The staff are very helpful and friendly and they along with the real coal fire make it so you don't want to leave!! Lovely old style pub.
