Saray Cafe Bar – ChorltonThe best Chinese restaurant we have ever been to. Excellent food, great and friendly service, lovely moon atmosphere. We have been at least thirty times and always had a great meal
Pacifica Cantonese – EcclesWe booked table couple weeks in advance as it was my partner birthday. When we arrived no one bother what was in our reservation had to ask twice to have table changed and not to be seated next to big and loud party , even tho restaurant was almost empty. Then waiters was over every 2 minutes, not even leaving us for a moment of peace, for some people it mean that they have good service for me it means I wasn't able to have normal conversation , not mention finishing even one sentence) . food was average, definitely lacking something, wine was much warmer than room temperature. I hardly ever complain but I can't say I had a good evening. Staff made us feel like they was rushing to get rid of people. For me it's a NO NO
Panama Hattys – Manchester City CentreI was so excited to hear nicks had opened I westhoughton as have heard fabulous reviews. My mothers 60th birthday was the perfect time to book a table for 6 . I called nicks and asked for a table on Thursday 9th of feb to the reply of" "i will call you back in 30 mins" did not get a reply. Called back spoke to the same girl who did not apologize and said we could have a table for about 2 hours, then another lady butted in a.d said "no only 2 hours" I appreciate that the restaurant was probably busy on that night but there is a way of speaking to customers and making them feel welcome. It was as if they were doing me a favour! Based on this experience I will not go back to the restaurant. Am sure the food is wonderful but staff attitude is very bad.
The Fat Pig – WesthoughtonReally lovely pub with an impressive wine list, all staff seem very helpful and a great atmosphere to meet friends. It's a shame it isn't more central in Manchester as this is what were missing.
Metropolitan – DidsburyVery happy with the Food and service, you must try it 10/10!!!
India Gate – BoltonSunday lunch, really nice and good price, definitely recommend and will return soon 10/10
Pointing Dog – Cheadlewe have been to petra many times and we love it .great food lovely staff. will be there again for valentines day
Petra – RusholmeVisited as a couple on a Friday night. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, and delicious food. We've already planned to take a relative there for a birthday meal in a few weeks' time, and will definitely eat here again beyond that occasion too!
Saray Cafe Bar – Chorltonwent to the standard last night for my uncles 50th there was 20 of us. food and service was very nice, yet i don't think they are good at handling a big party as all the food was mixed up and bought out at different times so we had a cold curry with hot rice etc... they didn't seen to like the fact that we were all paying separate bills. (we do this because last time a big party of us went they got the bill wrong and there was an extra 30.00 added on) And we never received any free short at the end of the night which a lot of ppl rave about.
Standard Indian Restaurant – UrmstonEnjoyed a fantastic lunch at Saray Cafe Bar. We ordered a selection of hot and cold starters (five between two of us, which was plenty!). The food was fresh, tasty, and nicely presented, and came with lots of delicious warm pitta bread. We finished with sticky, sweet pieces of baklava and coffee. Service was friendly and attentive, without being overbearing. The prices were very reasonable for the amount of food we were presented with! Looking forward to going back to sample more of the menu.
Saray Cafe Bar – ChorltonDidn't fancy curry......again for my friends birthday so she googled 'tapas in Audenshaw' and up popped The Orange Tree. What a superb little place and a gem of a find! Absolutely fantastic staff and service, beautiful food and to boot the house rose wine was great! Will be going back for more of this brilliant experience very soon with my friend(s) and I will taking my other- half there for Valentines Day if not sooner!
The Orange Tree Tapas – AudenshawWent there at the beginning of the week...thought the food was grand, atmosphere great and service gnarly!! Special offer on food so was very reasonable, will most certainly be back!
Sandinista! Cafe Bar – Manchester City CentreAbsolutely Amazing Food, top notch standard of service. I recommend the ruposhi house special and they also do a scrumdiddlyumptious Asian style lamb shank!!! nom nom nom!!!
Ruposhi Indian Restaurant – BuryWe went as a couple to Momentum on the last Saturday in January. The place was very busy and although we had a table booked we decide to have a drink first in the small lounge bar. Service was slow as there were only two members of staff in the bar but we eventually got our drinks and sat down. When we were shown to our table the meal was served after a short wait. The food was delicious, my husband had the steak and I had the butternut squash risotto. We both chose the toffee apple and pear crumble for dessert and while I enjoyed mine I would have preferred to have an option to have something other than ice cream with it. However I must comment on the service in the restaurant as I was very disappointed with it. It took an age for them to bring the bill at the end and then they brought us the wrong bill!! It then took equally as long to grab the waitress's attention again to point out their mistake and then even longer for her to finally bring the right bill. Another long wait then ensued before we could actually pay. I appreciate that we were only a couple and the restaurant was busy with tables of 4 or more but we both felt ignored. If we were to visit Momentum again we would choose a week night when it might be quieter and the service better.
Momentum Restaurant & Lounge – Westhoughtona great place with a laid back atmosphere, quirky vibe, myself and my partner recently visited and will be back again and again, the food was delicious, it hosts a lancashire tapas menu with plenty of choice, from deli meat platters to homemade fishcakes, lamb kofta ad many other mouth watering delights...my personal favourite being the homemade fat chips, lightly spiced, cooked to perfection and served with homemade dip,the staff were helpful and friendly and the service was excellent, also the place hosts lots of musical delights such as live music on thurs, djs fri and sat and even a jam night on a Sunday!!! definitely the place to be!!!!!!!!
First Chop – RamsbottomIf u want a unique experience with the feel of a Manchester hot spot with the love
First Chop – RamsbottomDelicious, no-nonsense Italian cuisine in an informal cafe style setting. The menu served a standard range of dishes, and the ones we chose were cooked to perfection. The service was both friendly and efficient, and the prices are pretty standard, but worth it. La Lupa appears to have a local, regular crowd, and after one visit I can see why. We'll be going again.
