La Roma Restaurant – BoltonHad a brilliant night out with colleagues for my birthday. All 8 (3 veggies) of us had lovely authentic and unusual food, The service was excellent.. Definitely going back!
Ning – Northern QuarterMy daughter came to visit from Berkshire with her family and surprised us with a reservation for dinner at The Owls.- a great idea for a perfect evening .
The Owls At Standish – WiganBeing a staff member of coriander I am telling you the truth. First of all don't give any service charge to the staff even though you get the best service because it goes to the owner's pocket straightaway. It is not shared among staff members. Secondly, don't have any chutney which comes with poppadoms as they mix them up with old chutnies( which goes back from the table). They never throw any chutney to the bin at all which has already been served, they keep it for next day to mix with fresh ones. What they do is, they make only 7/8 trays for whole night and then start topping up. It means you are eating some one else's chutney which is absolutely terrible. Finally, if you smell the clothe comes with naan breads, you would understand that how dirty it is. Well, you might think that why I am telling these secret !!!! My answer is I got to be honest and fare with you.
Coriander – ChorltonMyself and my friend enjoyed a lovely meal in Leos last night. The atmosphere is good and it is a cosy place to eat. The waiters service was wonderful, smiling happy waiters with good customer service something that is rare these days. There is lots of choice and the food was perfect , especially the vegetable lasagna. I will definitely eat here again.
Leo’s Restaurant – MontonHighly recommend this restaurant - great food, great atmosphere, great music and a really impressive refurb. Like the fact that you can see the chefs prepare your meal. Have now been a few times and have had steaks and pasta and always been delighted. Like it so much have booked a private function there.
Ciao Baby – BoltonThis is a recommendation NOT to go here. 2 staff were quite rude to me. The Mango and yogurt sauce was not to a high standard. The tikka masala was bland with no depth of flavour and when I was asked if it was ok, my feedback was honest, to which the waiter pulled his face. The reason I'm writing this is because I've woken up with tummy ache this morning which is never a sign of good food! Please Don't read other recommendations on the web; it's certainly no Blue Tiffin (Oldham) or zouk ( mnc).
Khandoker – DidsburyAwesome!
Achari – BoltonWe are regular visitors to Achari. The food is always first class, the waiters friendly and there is a wide range of choices on the menu from traditional dishes to more contemporary options. Special mention should be made regarding the Sunday sampler menu. Starter, main, side dish and rice for £11 with the whole menu available. Incredible value and always busy. Give it a go - you will not be disappointed.
Achari – Boltonshocking staff inexperienced and lifeless food menu good but food not good really unimpressed...
Ciao Baby – BoltonI dont.....Food terrible....Service even worse.....Miserable staff, no eye contact.....Give it a miss, PS...its Overpriced dog food.
La Salsa – HorwichOnce again ,very well cared for a large family party, and basically no complaints, great food ,ambience, service, price.
Zouk Tea Bar – Manchester City Centrelast time I went to Sir Winston Churchill with a group of friends the chicken was very dry and the chips were burnt! how long are the salads left out?
Sir Winston Churchill – Harvester – RochdaleYes very nice and recommended, price, service food v good.
Original Third Eye, The – DidsburyAte here last week and once again it was fantastic.. Nice place, good customer service and above all food that's amazing.
Cafe Istanbul – Manchester City CentreI wouldn't bother with this tapas bar. You may think you are getting value for money but the service was awful. We waited 40 minutes to get the attention of the waiter who was lounging on the bar to re-order. The food was awful. Brown lettuce and tasted just like it was a poor microwaved dish. I felt ill in the night and my friend had the runs. Really, you may think you are getting value but it is a waste of money.
La Salsa – HorwichMomentum is just what is needed in westhoughton, having just the right mix of opulence without being pretentious, very Cosy and a great menu also good choice of wines and cocktails, we will be visiting regularly I'm sure
