Rozafa – Manchester City CentreWe go to La Roma fairly often because we're fortunate enough to live within walking distance. I can't recommend it highly enough. The staff are always friendly, the atmospheres great and above all the food is fantastic. P.S If you like fish, try the whitebait starter when its on the specials board...
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonI came down to your restaurant in Delph with my girlfriend on Monday. I just wanted to say thank you again for a great evening. The food was amazing, the restaurant is very nice to sit in, and our waitress was first class! - even the toilets are great! (love the auto taps) We will definitely be back soon to sample more of your menu.
Fresca – SaddleworthI took my wife for a meal to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary.I had been once before when i used to work in Manchester, some 16 years ago.We really enjoyed the food. The vegetarian range is good, the owner was knowledgeable about the food, very helpful as were the other staff. The portions are quite filling. At the moment we are enjoying trying different Thai restaurants & would certainly re-visit this one if we were in the vicinity
Siam Orchid – Manchester City CentreDefinitely NOT. High price & very little food. Snooty manager. Main dish sausage (2) & one scoop of mash potato - for around £11. I refused it & was told in a very condescending by manager that I don't have to eat it. The restaurant was full - reminds me of 'the king's new clothes' fairytale. The place to be seen whatever the cost or value.
Greens – DidsburyGood Italian food with low key service. I enjoyed the Calamari, a Calzone & Tiramisu Prices very good also
La Lupa – StalybridgeWent to Kosmos Sunday the 22nd of May and as usual the food was delicious. Service was excellent and very professional.
Kosmos Taverna – Fallowfieldutter rubbish. Style over substance faux Italian . The place looks the part and is nice and classy, however the menu/ food and wine is appalling. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. ....... laughable , they have no idea what real Italian food is. What is 'pineapple carpaccio' for gods sake ... ??? ha ha ha
Bellavista – RochdaleThe Cajun chicken burger was amazing! The food is exceptional and it is always a very friendly environment. It is where I recommend anyone to go for food or drink. The landlord is also very hospitable.
The Victorian – BramhallExcellent food, excellent staff, excellent atmosphere!
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonStupots is the best cafe I have ever been to! the food is always the dogs b*****ks, i go here most days!
Stupots – SwintonStupots has a very friendly atmosphere. never been to a better deli.
Stupots – SwintonThis is a brilliant place to get food, me and my friends go there every other day for dinner
Stupots – SwintonWent to La Lupa for the first time this weekend!! The food, wine and atmosphere were all amazing!! Will definitely be going back to sample more of the delicious food!!
La Lupa – StalybridgeOh dear. We took two friends to this over-rated, over-priced restaurant last night and now feel acutely embarrassed. Service was shocking mainly due to the fact that we came a very poor second to the Eurovision song contest ,from which most of the staff were unable to drag themselves away. I opted for Cozze alla crema to start. The sauce, whilst flavoursome was virtually cold and to my horror one of the mussels came with a most disconcerting clump of black hair attached to it. On drawing the waiters attention to this i was aggressively informed that this was the mussels tail!! In thirty six years as a seafood lover i have never seen anything like this, i was also made to feel like a fool for pointing it out. Sul Lago, if you are reading this the waiter was tall, thin and perhaps of an age where he should be looking for a real job. my advice to you is get his P45 ready. Main course was served whilst two of our party were outside, always nice to return to a plate of cooling food! my partner was most disappointed with the watery and tasteless veal, also parmesan was tipped over her dish without consent while another waiter shouted "no parmesan on the veal", needless to say this mistake was neither aknowledged or rectified. I opted for filetto pavarotti, the steak was small but had been cooked ok, the sauce however was lacking flavour and added nothing to the dish. If you are a vegetarian the Sul Lago is not the place for you. I find it amazing that in this day and age the only vegetarian options are the never innovative mushroom risotto and penne alla bland type generic cop-outs. it took quite some time to catch a waiters eye to ask if non-meat versions of pasta dishes were available, it must have been a particularly nail-biting moment on Eurovision. We decided against desert but did order coffee, whereupon my brandy order was forgotten, and the blame was passed around. Waiters stared at us in an attempt to make us ask for the bill and made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. No apologies were offered for any issue we had. The bill came to £146, extortionate for the food and service but a small price to pay to realise that we will never come here again. Sul Lago wake up! You need to take a long look at the way you do things, employ new staff who are customer focussed, source new suppliers as the quality of produce was lamentable and turn the tv off!!!!! Rarely have i been so let down by a restaurant and in light of this i shall be telling anyone who will listen to steer well clear.
Sul Lago – Oldhamwe have had takeaway from the Dilshad for a number of years and have NEVER had bad food or bad service...if Jarlsberg made curries they would make Dilshad.....thanks guys
Dilshad Tandoori – MostonI am a very foody person and after tasting the great food of Gurkha Grill I could not help my self to go their again and again. The food is simply wow and the members of the restaurant are very cooperative and friendly. Raj and Niel are always their to welcome us. I am 200 % satisfied with the nepalese food and environment and I recommend you to go their and experience yourself. I guarantee you that you will not regret it…..
