Frankie and Bennys – BoltonI booked a table for 14 family members for my daughters 18th birthday on Friay and was really excited to be going to Jamie's. Well, unfortunately what a disappointment. It ook over an hour to receive the starters, with one promptly dropped on to the head of my 18 month old neice by one of the waiting staff. Then when a new starter was brought it had hair all over it.The food was all over spiced and herbed and with some over cooked, the steaks were fatty and a few of the dishes were so full of chillies that they were inedible. We didn't even bother with the desserts as the starters and mains had been so poor. For £400 and for Jamie Olivers reputation, I expected a lot more. I would not recommed this restaurant to anyone.
Jamies Italian – Manchester City CentreTHE BEST CURRIES I'VE EVER HAD! Really! I've been coming to this place since it opened, when I get the chance. In my 50s now so have a long record of curries behind me, but the tastes and flavours these guys get into their food are beyond compare. Don't know if its the freshness of the ingredients and spices or the skill of the chef, but they definitely work some kind of food magic. You can literally stick a pin in the menu blindfolded and you won't be dissatisfied. Add to that the delicious home made poppadums with some seriously good relishes and you've got a highly recommended restaurant. Not sure how much footfall they get though, so please support them.TRY IT - YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.
Tandoori Flame – ChorltonMy husband and I had a meal for the first time on the 5th September, was so impressed with the service and food that we went back this Saturday (29th September) and took 4 friends with us, What a fab. evening we had, the food is just great, the staff could not do enough for us. Unanimous decision is that we return very soon. Thanks you have got it so right.
Rivington Pub and Grill – HorwichI have eaten out here many times, each time is better than the last the staff are lovely the restaurant very clean food excellant, and all good value,,,,I would recommend Ciao Napoli THe BEST Italian in Bolton.
Ciao Napoli – BoltonWent there last night and must say best food I have had in a long time well done.
Empire – UrmstonHad meal last sat and it was lovely had small meal as it was late booking, will tell all my friends about this place. Even booked again with friends next week.. Decor very nice staff very helpfull Thanx u
The Black Bull – BuryVery good food and service. One critism, there wasn't really an early bird menu available. You basically have to select the cheapest options from the main menu that would come to around £20, so not really an offer....
Jem and I Bar and Grill – DidsburyEaten here several times and the food is excellent. There are different curries I have never tried before. Very good vegetarian selection as well as meat, Food tastes really fresh. highly recommend it
Tandoori Flame – ChorltonThe food was tasty and well presented, the service was friendly and eager to please. My wife was particularly impressed with the toilets decor. All in all the we had a thoroughly enjoyable time.
Ambiente – Worsleyi think this bollywood masala restaurant should be more well known, as have got to say I am very surprised with this restaurant. All the staffs were really welcoming, nice and really helpful. A lot of Indian restaurants are full of arrogant and uncaring waiting and managing staff, but Bollywood masala were soooo great. It was just a nice place to be. The food was really nice specially Mo Mo (Dumpling) ! It actually tasted like real freshly Finally a place that actually knows how to make a nice pilau rice lol. Starters were quite impressive as well and quite generous servings in both mains and starters. The flavours were really good and it's got to be one of the most authentic and best indian places I've been to. And for me the best indian in Manchester city centre.
Bollywood Masala – Manchester City CentreBeen to Renato's & Jiuseppe's restaurant for over three years now quite a few times per week. Food & drink is mint, we've tried all the so called Italian restaurants & they don't match them. We recommend them to everybody because we know people won't be disappointed.
La Lupa – StalybridgeAmazing, me and my boyfriend came a few weeks ago we shared the combo starter which was garlic prawns wings and chirizo and red pepper. I had stuffed chicken and he had a burger. The food was lovely, also the ice creams are great and a good selection of beers, I'll be returning with 8 others for my birthday!!!
King William – BoltonAbsolutely appalling, never again it was a disaster from start to finish. Poor quality of food! bring back the "Carvery" where you pick your own meat whilst the chef carves it in front of you!! When our food arrived we should have just got up and left. The waiter could not understand a word I was talking about, he was also quite rude!!
Rivington Pub and Grill – HorwichVisited Bollywood Masala on Saturday evening and had the most amazing indian meal I have ever eaten. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. The staff, atmosphere and food were all fantastic.
