Rivington Pub and Grill – HorwichGreat spot by a lake. Great lunch was had by all. They have rooms too, so I would like to stay there too sometime.
The Strawbury Duck – BoltonVery impressed with 1847, ate there tonight and had their £15 taster menu. excellent quality. The staff were very friendly too. I am not a vegetarian and this was the best meal I have had for a while.
Bistro 1847 – Manchester City CentreThe Black Bull has great food, lovely staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Definitely recommended.
The Black Bull – BuryHorrible takeaway place. Beware of them. First they delivered rare chicken, with blood and in the frozen middle. Then, second time they delive 2 pieces of chicken less than was ordered. I call back immediately and they proceed to argue with me and insist I want to rip them of 2 extra pieces of chicken!Ridiculous people!!!!!!!!!!
Taste Buds – SaleWhat a find. A gem of an Italian in cowey head. Nice dining room, smart & clean. The young staff were cheerful & freindly. The food superb, hot & tasty. Small menu plus specials board. I can't reccomend this place enough. Beer & wine prices OK.
Andiamo – WesthoughtonBusiness 3 course lunch is great value with a good variety of dishes to choose from, ambience is good, staff are friendly and the service is great, i will be going back again.
Pearl City Cantonese Restaurant – Manchester City Centrelovely family restaurant, we found by accident, fresh flavors, home cooked - good value, I had Lamb shank meat just melted in my mouth really enjoyed, will return.
Hafez Restaurant – SaleTerrible experience actually saw a cockroach run from the kitchen Did not even stop to finish food owner denies everything do not eat here
Ichiban Noodle Rice and Grill – RusholmeWas taken to La Lupa last night . What a find! We asked for mussels to start (which weren't on the menu but my friend had eaten them previously). They were made especially for us and were DELICIOUS! And we both had pasta (mine 'Pasta al salmone') with garlic bread to follow. The food was fresh, hot when it arrived and full of flavour. The portion size just right. The staff were efficient and friendly and the atmosphere busy but not frantic! A very enjoyable eating experience - I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
La Lupa – StalybridgeFabulous food & great service combine to make this as authentic a Greek meal without actually being in Greece although the prices are higher than I would expect to pay in Euros. The prices are totally justified by the quality of the food and the fact that the extensive menu deviates little from the Greek/Cypriot cuisine with even only the odd concession on the wines. Definitely will return & I can understand why it has been trading so long from the same location.
Kosmos Taverna – Fallowfieldcalm and peaceful place to relax. Delicious food and excellent and kind service. A very good menu
Hafez Restaurant – SaleI had a brilliant evening for all. from the moment we entered we where made very welcome the staff where very attentive. a huge selection on the menu... food was divine... we will all diffenatly be coming back.
Lal Qila – Manchester City Centrewent for lunch on friday 14th june never again it was horrible i asked for beefburger and chip with a side salad the bread on the burger was all soggy through the amount of water from the side salad the chips were the dreqq ends of a bag of frozen chips all hard no potato the burger itself was tasteless and the side salad was just a load of lettuce leaves what a horrible horrible meal will never go again it was disgusting ...
