We had a great evening here, lovely steaks and a fab toffee banana dessert, we arrived in time to see the pianist which finished it of nicely. We will be going back!

The Grill On the Alley – Manchester City CentreIts a nice place - friendly staff and reasonable but not outstanding food. It was full on Friday night - while other equally good or better places were pretty empty. We'd go again as we live locally but there are better Middle Eastern places (Arian, Nectar and Turkish Delight for example in Chorlton)
Saray Cafe Bar – ChorltonWent to la lupa 10 3 2012, it was recommended to us. On first sight it looked good but was disappointed once inside. It just looked like a glorified cafe, the staff i thought were miserable and it was expensive, otherwise the food was gorgeous, garlic mushrooms best i've ever had.
La Lupa – StalybridgeWe go regularly to Rigalettos and we have never had any complaints the food is excellent and the staff really make you welcome. The choice of food is excellent and nothing is too much trouble for the staff
Rigalettos – WiganWe had the pleasure of dining at Saray on the second night of opening and we have taken family back there since. It is a very friendly and welcoming restaurant with plenty of elbow room between tables. The food is fresh, very tasty and very good value; I particularly like the 'melt-in-the-mouth' lamb casserole. The whole experience is a great introduction to middle-eastern cuisine. The service is attentive without being overbearing or patronising - just genuine hospitality. We will certainly be going back again.
Saray Cafe Bar – ChorltonWe have been to the Toby Inn about 6 times over the last 3 years. It has been a delight every time! The food it wonderful the service is just right.I honestly CAN NOT find fault with anything. Well just one thing.......You are too far away to walk to!!!!
Toby Inn – BoltonRecently visited this restaurant after hearing mixed comments from friends. What a pleasant surprise we had, the surroundings are lovely, the staff were very attentive but not over bearing the starters and main meals myself and my boyfriend had were delicious. However, and a slight negative note the desserts were still frozen (not major problem, just ate around the frozen part), and then about 9:30pm the staff disappeared we think to eat their evening meal and we were left trying to get the bill from anyone that would acknowledge us. Apart from this we would go back as the food was lovely but we'd just go earlier on in the evening..
Tum Nuk Thai Restaurant – BoltonGood food
Hong Kong Red Lantern – DidsburyVisited La Lupa for first time in June 2011 really enjoyed ourselves, the food was great as was the atmosphere The Bruschetta was especially good as were the meat balls, and the service excellent. Revisited on the 26/02/12 with my partner and daughter, again lovely atmosphere had bruschetta again and fancied the sea bass but Renato recommended the Talapa i think it was called (similar to sea bass) absolutely exquisite. the food the service and atmosphere was so good we could not wait to go back and went for another meal on the 30th feb again excellent. I have been to a number of Italian restaurants in Tameside and Manchester and this for me is the best in the area. I have to thank my friend Marcello for recommending La Lupa to me.
La Lupa – StalybridgeOver the past 6 months ive been visiting The Midway probably on average once a week. Service never changes and is always 1st class! Owners are brilliant and very welcoming. Food is amazing and very reasonably priced! Drink selection is unending. Sundays offer even more value for money as they offer 2 or 3 course meals at half the price of other restaurants who serve the same quality food! Try it for yourself! Booking in advance maybe a good idea depending on the day!
The Midway – StockportDined in January and thought both the food & service were top notch, food well priced, well portioned, well presented & expertly executed. Service was efficient & friendly and was refreshing to find a fine dining restaurant which delivers good food and service with no pretence, not over-the-top formalities. Great wine list, well put together with a selection to cover all varietals. Well worth a visit!!
Sole Seafood Restaurant & Bar – Manchester City CentreThe Spice Garden captures everything that's good about Thailand and packs it into a cosy sandstone terrace. The food is fresh and delicious, the people are genuine and friendly, and the service is fast. The place manages to work for special occasions and a quick bite after work. Take away is just as good, but you don't get to listen to Thai music if you're at home!
Spice Garden – RamsbottomGreat food and service as always, best chicken tikka in bolton
Lagan – BoltonLovely wine!!!! Great selection of drinks! I am very obsessive when it comes to bathroom cleanliness, I love this place!!!! There is actual hot water and nice hand soap, there's also hand cream AND dryers that actually dry your hands quickly :):):):):):):):) wahey!! Nice comfy Seats or sofas and when iv done (and insanely failed) the pub quiz the organisers have been lovely x
The Midway – Stockporti have in qila khyber,i would say that if u like natural and real taste u should go there.food was nice and cheap l ate chicken tawa
Qila Khyber – Manchester City CentreExcellent selections on the menu, great atmosphere and very comfortable, unfortunately although the starter of soup tasted very good i had to send it back because it was cold but it was promptly replaced by a very hot one, but then, my steak was served also cold. The dessert was delicious and hot but it didn't make up for the 2 previous courses
Fairfield Arms – AudenshawI'm not sure what the 'a la carte' meals are like, but I have just left this place feeling conned!!Had a buffet £14.00 a head. (They were very reasonable and said if you're expecting 60, pay for 50, there'll be plenty)1/ there wasn't enough to feed 30 never mind 50!!2/ That doesn't even take into account that the food was, borderline, inedible to anything other than a McDonalds/KFC palate, a lasagne in which the meat appeared to be gravel boiled up with an oxo cube, no sauce whatsoever and pasta which screamed Lidl value range!!! Rememeber this was a buffet; your only other option to eat was chips, seriously this horrendous excuse for a lasagne was the only 'dish' available.3/ Garlic. if you like garlic and don't mind it hiding the fact that the other things you're eating have no flavour whatsoever, and are (sorry for the language) shit, you'll love this place. The whole room stank like a French Arab's fart.4/ Vodka and Lemonade, Gin and Tonic, 1 and a half pints of lager £21.00 are we paying for the skill of the bar staff as well? This was my nephews 21st and I left as soon as I could.Don't go, just don't go, EVER. Bollocks to awards, nowhere who had any pride in their produce would have served up that shit and I mean SHIT.
