Stables Restaurant – HydeI booked a table for Saturday 22nd March 10 days in advance. When we arrived at 5.50 pm there was a large number of people - about 15 - all standing waiting to be seated. ABout 10 past six a party who had booked for 5.30 and were still waiting decided to leave. At this stage people who had booked for 5.45pm gave up and left. As we were attending the theatre and time was running short we left at 6.20 still waiting for a table. What a disgraceful state of affairs. We had stood for half an hour and never even got to see our booked table much less have a meal. We then had to go and find somewhere else before our show started in a rush and very disgruntled. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreDined here on the recommendation of Sugarvine. Great meal and great value. Lobster for £17 with refills for my chips and salad!
Steak & Lobster Manchester – Manchester City CentreGreat old boozer in the heart of Manchester. Jammed with original features and awesome Guiness!
The Britons Protection – Manchester City CentreWe were exhibiting at the next stand to Sugarvine at the NRB show and asked for a recommendation for a Chinese in the city centre. We were delighted with the meal. will go again when in Manchester!
Yang Sing – Manchester City CentreBeen 4 times so far the food and service are superb, this is the best Indian restaurant I have been to, give it a try...
Achari – BoltonBest biryani in Manchester. We travel all the way from North Wales just to eat at Shaygan Halal Takeaway, 153 Dickenson Road, Manchester and it is well worth the 1 hour journey as the food is authentic and delicious.
Shaygan Halal Takeaway – RusholmeAbsolutley lovely food. Love having a laugh with everyone, all down to earth. Would recomend you at anytime to all. Thankyou for all your lovely food and respect you all x x x from Leanne Cawdor Court Farnworth . .
Papa Sams – BoltonWe called in for a family meal last November midweek on a quiet night. 4 Adults and 2 children and as the food was so undercooked including the children’s burger which was cold and red in the middle and all the chips still hard and cold veg, we felt the food was unsafe to eat. The menu had also changed and the quality of the food seemed poor (which can be down to cut backs by the group and not the fault of the location). Due to the large amounts of food we left on our plates we were asked by the waitress if there was a problem which we explained; but as the Manager was not on site there was nothing she could do.I had already made a reserved booking for just before Christmas so the next day I phoned to cancel this booking and spoke to the Manager, who truly seemed concerned that we had been serviced uncooked meat and said she would ring us in January to see if the family would like to return.. we never received the call..
Golden Lion – SwintonAbsolutely fantastic food. Ambience ideal and good range of wines.
Da Noi Restaurant – AltrinchamCozy restaurant and fantastic food. Staff look after you and its makes a really pleasant evening. Loads of choice for food and its tastes great. Its worth more than one return visit.
visited last minute one Saturday at 630; no problem to get a table but it soon filled up! excellent home made Bruschetta then Broccoli soup and gamberetti with linguini.. good portions and affordable house wine.. does what it says on the tin!
Visited on 8th June 2013. Four diners. Starters and meals plus wine. Great value and excellent food. Renato is great host and very accomodating. The cheesey garlic bread is the best ever. Food is piping hot and very well presented. I have a good appetite and was more than happy with the dish sizes. The wine was very good as well. Will definately go again. Well done Renato and Giuseppe
A lovely, cosy, clean understated restaurant with fabulous food. The service is very good and there are a wide choice of dishes at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended. So nice to get quality on your doorstep.
very nice restaurant very basic but food second to none which is reasonably priced this is somewhere that would also be great for the kids as they do lovely pizza freshly made i went without the kids but they made me one to take away the staff are very welcoming and i would definitely return ...
The manageress at this pub is the rudest person I have come across. After saying we would have a wait of 15 -20 minuters, we waited one and half hours. As soon as we had finshed our meal (three lady pensioners) she said "I want this table and I want it now, go finish your drinks at the bar" we left the table and paid our bill but we won't be returning whilst she is in charge.
Golden Lion – SwintonWow great value for money and quality food!! Recently new mouth watering dishes have been added on to the menu which I have tried all of them and couldn't fault.
