We went to Pacifica for a celebration meal after it was recommended by friends. We were not disappointed. The food was lovely, especially the Dim Sum and it was good value for money. Would definitely go again.

Pacifica Cantonese – EcclesI have never ever ordered a meal where I have had to call the company back and ask them to collect their meal and ask for a refund. The food is a not edible and the managers attitude was just as bad, putting the phone down on me and telling me I am wrong. Surely feedback is important to any business owner. I urge anyone who is looking for fresh, decent food, stay away from the spicy hut. I have had some pretty rubbish take-aways in my time, but not one item from this company was in anyway acceptable.
Spicy Hut – RusholmeVery busy place and a good atmos. A good end to an arduous shopping trip at the nearby Rock. They always do vouchers at Pizza Express, so it's always good value.
Pizza Express – BuryA big party of us ate here last month for a birthday and we had a good time. The live band downstairs was a touch OTT as we couldn't really hear each other speak and you do get a ridiculous amount of food.. so make sure you're hungry before you go.
Bem Brasil Deansgate – Manchester City CentreIt's ok.. not worthy of the award, but it's a nice place and worth a visit if you're going past.
METRO Fish Bar – BuryWe ate here a few weeks ago, pre show (Bury Met Theatre) and it was really good. Good, prompt service and nice food.
Automatic Lounge – BuryLeo's in Horwich. Good food and good price.
Leo’s – Horwichthe fish+chip s are fantastic ,very friendly staff wont go any where else
Enfield Street Chippy – WiganUnfortunately this is definitely not a recommendation for the restaurant. We have just returned from a birthday meal for a friend. It was a large party of about 20 people who were advised that the menu for a set fee to include 6 tapas plates. We were happy with this until we realised that the 6 tapas plates received would be between 4 people. In effect, we paid £12.00 per person for just 6 plates of tapas and one small dish of salad (£48.00 pound for 6 plates!). The owners certainly saw us coming and as most were local people who attended, I think they have lost a lot of business. Certainly, we will be telling our friends not to bother. A disappointing end to a good day and staff seemed unconcerned when we complained and left hungry.
La Torre – UrmstonI've been 3 times in the last 6 weeks. All meals faultless. Excellent food, fine selection of wine and great service. I'll be back.....
Isinglass – Urmstonwe went to the andiamo restaurant last night , the service , food and atmosphere was outstanding . from my telephone booking several days before to leaving the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly . , they catered for our special requirements on service and food which was delicious , also the portion sizes were perfect.
Andiamo – WesthoughtonCame Sat night and it was very nice thanks
Sir Winston Churchill – Harvester – RochdaleI wish this restaurant was still a best kept secret but the word has spread... It is a warm family friendly Italian with great food, generous portions and a laid back environment that has not compromised on its excellent service. Dress up or down you'll fit in. Modern decor but spacious and the chairs are comfortable. Good parking availability. I’ve been a few times now and they quickly get to know you, Chef has always been very accommodating about little changes. They do take-aways too – much to my husbands appreciation, the steak in peppercorn sauce just melts in the mouth. The pasta is always perfectly al dante, I would recommend the sea food linguine, it’s my favorite. A brilliant place to try mid week – as there are often very good offers.
Baci Restaurant – BoltonWe have been going to Baci since its opening and have enjoyed both eating in and takeaway menu. We have gone on several occasions with the kids and with large groups and always have excellent food and great service. It is great to have a good restaurant in walking distance where we can enjoy good food and wine.
Baci Restaurant – BoltonDo not be fooled by the first impressions from a tired outside; we found the service, atmosphere & food to be first class. Good honest grub [I tasted everything we ordered] & reasonable prices for both food & wine [I also paid for everything too!]. Considering the size of the [relatively tiny] kitchen, I saw them turnout an impressive range of cuisine, all delivered to the diners with military precision by Ian & his team.
The White Crow – WiganWe are regular visitors to Baci purely because we enjoy the food and the atmosphere! The staff are always friendly and helpful and there is always a lively, family atmosphere to the place. It is the kind of restaurant that you can pop into any evening of the week knowing there will be enough other people there to give it a nice atmosphere - having been in quite a number of other restaurants which are too quiet! I also had my daughters' christening there a few years ago which was excellent
Baci Restaurant – BoltonThis is a lovely place to eat . The food is excellent and the staff are lovely . The menu is extensive but they ll do changes to a dish if you request it . The whole place is lovely and clean , which is very important in an eating place .
Church Inn – CheadleI went here following the recommendation from a friend and I was expecting to be disappointed given his over-the-top ravings. Well, I wasn't. The food is probably the best I've tasted in the area - and I must have been to every restaurant for 25 miles around! The restaurant is upstairs from the pub and is nicely decorated with friendly (if young) staff. Get in before 7 and there is an early bird menu (basically allowing you to pick 3 courses from the a la carte for £16.95). Each course was absolutely superb and speedily brought to our table. I had scallops for starters (served on black pudding and minted pea) followed by pork in bacon, with appropriate trimmings, polished off with cheescake and ice cream. My Mrs had red mullet to begin, followed by brie stuffed Goosnargh chicken and sticky toffee pudding. My mouth is watering again! Total price including a beer and a large glass of white was under £40 on a Saturday night! I can't praise it enough. Nothing pretentious, no airs and graces, just a nice room with lovely food. We finished off with a pint in the pub. Nice enough but lacking a 'homely feel' (and the colour choice for the walls was a little suspect ...). That said, don't go for the pub - go for the restaurant. You'll be raving about it too!
