La Roma Restaurant – BoltonAte at Room on Monday night and had the excellent crisp pork belly with 2 hand dived scallops. Great cocktails too, excellent in all departments
Grand Pacific restaurant and bar – Manchester City Centrevery very good,if a little pricey, overall a very pleasurable experience, recommended
Jem and I Bar and Grill – DidsburyWent on the off chance on Saturday as out for a night on Canal St. What a FAB restaurant! The service was a little slow but the food was certainly worth the wait. Nice unpretentious atmosphere and the best risotto I've ever eaten. Very reasonable prices too. Will definitely go back and would recommend to anyone
Villaggio – Manchester City CentreI have visited the The Owls At Standish by invitation to 2 larger parties, on 2 occasions, it is lovely and clean, the food is excellent and hot, the surrounding area is beautiful, there is plenty of space in the restaurant, there's no rush, the staff are friendly and helpful, I have recently booked it again for 6 people in October The prices are very reasonable, and its certainly the sort of eating out venue to put top of your list, I certainly will. There is a very good selection on the menu for all requirements. The management is very well organised and accurate.
The Owls At Standish – WiganSept 09 - Try Pacifica you definitely won't be disappointed - excellent food and service - can't wait for our next visit D&A
Pacifica Cantonese – EcclesFirst class food ,first class surroundings, first class staff, this is the best thai restaurant in the area bar none
Nam Ploy – BoltonI've just endured about a quarter of a King Prawn Jalfrezi from this takeaway. To say that this was the worst Indian meal I've had is an understatement. The taste of the food is hard to describe because it didn't actually have any taste at all. It was complete mush. The only thing I could taste was the curry powder that had been added in an attempt, presumably, to give this dish some life. The 'King Prawns' they used resembled chicken nuggets with the batter removed and tasted of nothing. How the chef's have managed to take a prawn and remove all of the taste is beyond me, but they did it. Well done. The best thing about the takeaway was the free beer and wine. Perhaps this is why people keep going back? It certainly can't be for the food, it's rubbish. This is my second visit to this restaurant. The first time wasn't any good, but any restaurant can have an off day. Clearly, though, this is the norm at Bilash. There are much better Indian restaurants only a few miles away that, admittedly, charge a little bit more and don't give free beer away, but offer food that's a quantum leap over this drivel.
Bilash Balti House – SwintonJ W Lees' dining pub of the year. Unusual food at very reasonable prices, standards always very high. Service friendly and attentive, but not overly so. We had a wonderful family celebration here. Nothing was too much trouble Well kept Lees beer on handpump.
Morning Star Pub Restaurant – OldhamHad a great meal on Saturday night at Room - venison cooked to perfection with pistachio and chocolate. Top notch
Grand Pacific restaurant and bar – Manchester City Centrewe visited rozafa 30/09/2009 lunch time and had the 2 course £6.50 menu . wow the food was fantastic. we had an amazing greek salad 2 start with the freshest ingredients, for my main course i had the mixed kebab with the chips and the portion was huge, my partner had the stuffed vine leaves and they were fab . The restaurant was packed but our service was fab, really couldn't recommend this place enough. A BRILLIANT PLACE X
Rozafa Taverna – StockportPlease do not go to this restaurant. They are terribly rude and belligerent.
Gemini Cafe – RusholmeWent for lunch at Earth Vegetarian Cafe and Juice Bar last week. Only one word to describe it - FANTASTIC. Gorgeous food, lovely venue and beautiful friendly staff. The Vegan Cheesecake is to die for. Keep up the good work guys. xxx

The Pavilion – BoltonWe absolutely love this restaurant and its our favourite local place to eat. Perfect for lunch, mid week, or a special Saturday night for couples, friend or groups. We've eaten here many times and will return again and again. The food is consistently fantastic and never disappointing and the menu has plenty of choice. The home-made soups are amazing and the deserts are devine! The service is friendly and efficient and the Stables is cosy and welcoming. The Stables is a credit to the owner, Tim, and we'd recommend it to anyone who appreciates good food.
Stables Restaurant – HydeWe had a meal at the Cheshire line tavern on 26th Sept. 11 of us, and each of us were really impressed. When we booked they knew it was for a birthday and the table was dressed up beautifully to make it special. The meals were served correctly, and all together, massive portions!! Would certainly recommend and we're looking at the Christmas menu. :-)
Cheshire Line Tavern – CheadleMy wife and myself have returned to Chinese Delight on several occasions and have always had excellent service, the attention to detail has been first class every time. Over attentiveness or first class service - I would say "First class Service" . Always fresh ingredients, never rushed, the table is ours for the night, always last to leave. Booked for last sitting New years eve, see you there.
