Olympus Fish and Chip Restaurant – BoltonMyself and my husband and two friends visited on Saturday 07/07/2012. What can I say we had an excellent evening. The food was very very good, tasty and enjoyable at the same time. We would not hisitate in visiting again in the near future. My compliments to the chef and also to the waiter and waitress for their helpfulness.
First time anyone I knew had eaten here, and was my birthday meal.Fantastic food, warm welcome from George, an all round great evening. Not exactly what some in the group were expecting, venue wise, but then this isn't exactly a "restaurant" in the usual sense of the word... more a mediterranean taverna type.Highly recommended, with the only suggestions being maybe a bit more diversity on the veggie menu, and faster service. Starters took a while, but then the mains came out quickly afterwardsSuperb little place that has lots of potential
Zaytoon – ChorltonWe had 8 mains between 4 of us, and they were all truly amazing. Very authentic and tasted just like Turkey
Istanbul Grill – CheadleI recently had a meal with my husband at La Via. We eat out a lot and I can honestly say the food here was excellent and well exceeded our expectations. the staff are friendly and it was on a whole a really pleasant experience. we are definatly going again!
La Via – OldhamI am a regular visitor to the Imperial in Cheadle .The food is great and the staff are wonderful. I can highly recommend this restaurant .See you soon everyone!!!!
Imperial – CheadleWont be going again! Although the staff are friendly they are disorganised. Went last on girlie night for a friends birthday. We all shared garlic bread, yummy! We asked to see the wine list. There were two sav blancs on the list so I asked the waiter's advice. He said one was from france and the other from chile. It stated clearly both from chile, so no help there! I ordered fish pie, nice and hot but more like mashed potato pie as fish very sparse. I made a discrete complaint to the waiter who did nothing only to say not had a complaint before. One of my friends ordered a coke at an expensive £2.50 for a small glass. As nothing was done about my complaint i will not be returning. In my opinion it needs to get back to good pub grub at reasonable prices. Especially the soft drinks
Rivington Pub and Grill – HorwichI have been to Ciao Napoli every year for mine and my fiancess anniversary. It is a beautiful place to eat, good food, good price, excellent service.
Ciao Napoli – BoltonBollywood masala is a new concept which combines the heady cultural colours and extravagance of the bollywood film industry with the aromas and flavorous of the cuisines of the indian subcontinent with a fusion of western tastes. With this Restaurant we have modernized indian cuisine taking it to its next level yet still keeping its authentic flavorous approached in a contemporary fusion manner with different accents from around the world added to dishes making this visit a unique experience.
Bollywood Masala – Manchester City CentreNot impressed...the service seems to get slower and slower here even when it's quiet. Can't understand how it can take so long to warm up some soup and pitta bread with humous - what a shame!
Mary & Archie – DidsburyFirstly, let me say I'm Asian and I've grown up eating authentic, North Punjabi food. All too often, restaurants disappoint me with unauthentic food with far too much oil and food colouring - nothing like the food I grew up eating. I've been to Zouk around ten times now and each experience has been wonderful. The food has always been great - fresh, superbly spiced and seasoned and nicely presented. Meat dishes are so tender and the vegetable dishes are imaginative and a welcome break from the usual options in other establishments. The Nan and rotis are the best I've had. And the pilau rice is what it should be - cooked with cloves, cinnamon and spices rather that the coloured boiled rice you find in so many restaurants. The staff have always been polite and helpful. This place is far better than a couple of London based Michelin star Indian restaurants I've eaten in, and costs far less! Can't wait to go back soon. Highly, recommended.
Zouk Tea Bar – Manchester City CentreWe always get a fantastic meal from The Buraq ... We've been customers for years. Absolutely delicious! 10/10
Buraq – WiganI visit La Roma regularly for family occasions, we always enjoy the food and the friendly atmosphere. Thank you
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonWe have visited The Rivington this evening for my Father's 70th birthday meal. The staff were fantastic, so polite and nothing was too much trouble. The food was outstanding, hot, fresh and of such good quality. I'm not sure what the above review was used to but it certainly wasn't standard fare. It was stunning and for a place that has only been open for 4 weeks is doing remarkably well. We have booked again for 3 weeks time for a Friday evening so fingers crossed.
Rivington Pub and Grill – HorwichI have been going to this restaurant for about 3 years now since I moved to Chorlton and I love it. Great menu with lots of choice, a very authentic Italian feel and a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and polite. The chef (owner) will come out into the restaurant and always say hello and have a bit chat with you which is a refreshing change from chefs just shouting at people. Keep up the good work, I love your restaurant. Highly recommend. Steve
