I ate here yesterday evening and was very impressed. The sushi was the freshest I've tasted and the main noodle meal I had was the nicest I've had for a long time.

Tokyo Season – Manchester City Centrei hate it your services isslow
Chiquitos – DidsburyI cant get enough of this place, i would walk past regularly and couldn't work out why it was forever busy. I just had to try it and couldn't believe how good it was, quite a limited menu, but it included food from Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and China. Top quality and great prices!
Fuzion Noodle Bar – FallowfieldI had a very enjoyable meal at Isinglass a couple of weeks ago and couldn't recommend it enough. Both the food and the service were faultless. It's just a shame the restaurant wasn't busier, will definitely be going again!
Isinglass – UrmstonThis was my third time at this restaurant in the past six months. I have been once for afternoon meal, once in the evening with partner and friend and once for Christmas. The food was ok the first time but they sat 6 of us in a booth clearly designed for 4 people so things were a little cosy to say the least. I do like this type of food (Quality Steak, Fish etc) and despite the first time I went with a friend for an early evening meal, which was ok. The food is just ok, nothing special and not a patch on Gaucho’s in Manchester. If you are going out for a good steak my advice is to go to Gaucho the service is better and the food quality is far superior. The thing that irritated us was they tried to put six guys in a booth that would not fit four of us comfortably. We immediately moved to a round table and told the girl serving us we could not stay there, as it was not comfortable. She said we would have to move but after telling her to get the manager to move us she seemed to leave it at that. The main gripe was the place charges at the top end of the scale but the food you get does not reflect the cost. As an example the advertise Chicken/beef skewers as a starter and they charge £5.95/£6.95 for these and they deliver ONE skewer for the price!!! We were disgusted at this as we thought Skewers meant plural not singular!! Summary: The venue is nice, layout and design is good and it is very busy. The food and service let the place down, it is expensive (For what you get) and the girl that served us was embarrassed by the lack of volume in the food. I would say to anyone considering going DO NOT BOTHER! Go to Gaucho’s in Manchester instead as its better value for money and they have more choice and the people serving you are not robots! I could say a lot more but I think over priced, poor value & terrible service/attitude just about covers it!
The Grill On the Alley – Manchester City Centrereally good i never been before so i thought it was nice i went with my friend Rachel and her brother and Chris and Jillian the appetizers was quiet dear i have been to ribbyhal and the dear there. I loved the food
Indian Ocean – Ashton Under Lynesuperb food, excellent service and always a welcoming atmosphere, we have yet to find another restaurant in rochdale that can beat the Madison, staff are always ready to offer suggestions and assist with menu selection. definitely our number one choice.
Madisons Restaurant – RochdaleSuperb food ! We've eaten Indian many many places and this tops them. Everything was cooked to perfection and so tasty we didn't want to stop eating. Will definitely be recommending Desi Lounge to all our friends. :-)
Desi Lounge – FailsworthFood was average, waiting staff were CONSTANTLY walking past every 30 seconds, and upstairs was old folks home decor. Downstairs was lovely, and greeting staff and bar staff were very friendly.
Francos – WiganFood good, staff absolutely dreadful. In particular the Manager and owners. That is basically all you need to know. We had a special offer deal, 2 for 1, and after the manager was incredibly rude to us, we ended up being dragged into the managers office to show him the offer on the website. I couldn't believe it! Would never ever consider going back.
Stock Restaurant – Manchester City Centreconsistently great food, terrific atmosphere, friendly and genuinely welcoming staff-always a great outing!
Danilos Hale – Altrinchamwe went here for a pre theatre meal, we have never eaten this cuisine before and were really looking forward to it, even though we didn't have a clue what to order but this is all part of trying new food isn't it..... The restaurant has nice decor, great friendly staff, but i just thought the food was a bit basic and even boring, very bland and uninteresting even though the menu sounds great when reading it. I sampled 4 meals from other member of our party and still wasn't over impressed. The food was cooked ok, just lacked taste & flavour, Everything seemed to come with rice ( tasteless ) and salad ( separate piles of grated carrot, shredded red cabbage and a single lettuce leaf ) Maybe this is similar to other turkish restaurant i am not sure but i wont be rushing back to this or any other turkish restaurant.
Topkapi Palace – Manchester City CentreThe new Italian restaurant replacing Aqua is fantastic. The food was divine- especially the steak! This is what Stalybridge has been missing for years. We used to go when it was Enzo's , I am so pleased it is back as an Italian. Five star recommendation!!!
La Lupa – StalybridgeWhen there on a business dinner with customers (6 person in total) after reading the good reviews. The food was decent but the service was virtually non existence. Maybe we were not that early. It was busy but most customers have been served. I don't see why there was a need to be treated differently? Appalling attitude by 2 waiters. The manager just cover up and give lotsa lousy excuses. Will never go there again.
Giovannis – Manchester City CentreWe try to eat at this restaurant at least once a month, the food is always excellent, the staff, under the direction of manager, Faz, are polite, courteous and helpful. We would recommend Desi lounge to anyone and look forward to eating here for many more years.
Desi Lounge – FailsworthBit disappointed! Took mum and my two children who have very healthy appetites. Portions rather on the small side, great if your on a diet! Other than that; food tasted great.
Croma – ChorltonWe heard about the classical British food on the menu here and when we arrived we were not disappointed the black pudding fritters were moreish. I had the lamb shank with minted pea champ & braised red cabbage with a beautiful lamb gravy and my partner had the bacon chop which was with smoked cheese mash and peppercorn sauce. When we got to the desserts the chef obviously had fun here a chocolate & orange creme brulee and my favourite childhood memory a jam roly poly which was beautifully presented with amazing custard. I advise anyone to visit Toms at least once we will definitely be returning again and again
