Wilton Arms – BoltonGreat food now there's a new good looking Italian chef there in that kitchen (what a looker ) can cook for me anytime xx fantastic food ,good vino, would recommend casa b to everyone
Casa Belmondo – RoytonMy partner and I have been going to The Standard every Sunday for a couple of months now - I hadn't been since I was a child but it's fabulous. The staff are really friendly and the food is fantastic. If you fancy something off the menu but slightly different (spicier/milder, different meat etc.) they are more than willing to oblige. They do still give you a free round of drinks - you usually pay for your first round and then they bring you another round on the house - how many restaurants do that??? Quite often if you order a starter without the poppadums, you get them anyway. I can't praise this place enough. It's always busy, which says something, but there's plenty of room and you're not sat on top of each other. My partner can usually get the next nights tea out of the meals - they give you more than enough so we tend to have a doggy bag for him the next night - well it saves me cooking!
Standard Indian Restaurant – UrmstonI love puccinis and go with my girlfriends every few months, the food is the best i have tasted, the staff are trained well and the service is excellent even at busy times, Robert, Micheal and the staff know how to run a restaurant. To avoid disappointment i would recommend you book a table, it is booked up very quickly especially at weekends.. it has a varied menu, with various prices but if you enjoy fillet steak & diane sauce, it is the best i have tasted! Go and Enjoy, you will return.
Puccini Pizzeria – Swintonvisited Manchester for the second time this weekend and after being impressed by Croma the first time we decided to go again. Once again we loved it, loved you don't have to book and although we were told a half hour wait we only waited 10 mins, the bar is nice too! The pizzas are amazing, i tried the full English breakfast one which was delicious! Great service, good atmosphere, highly recommend!!!
Croma – Manchester City CentreHad an absolutely cracking meal with my wife recently, The food was outstanding and amazing value. We ate off the set menu which is outstanding value and better than the ala carte menus in any other restaurant I've eaten at in town. the wine waiter was also fantastic matching the wines to perfectly compliment the wonderful food. All in all a wonderful night, we shall return.
Mint – Manchester City CentreWow!! Amazing food at an amazing. This is now our new favourite restaurant in Didsbury. 2 courses of this quality for £15?? Fantastic - you won't be disappointed.
Bistro West 156 – DidsburyThankyou all for a very nice dining experience. We accompanied the legendary 'Indian of the Group' former Mothers Of Invention drummer Jimmy Carl Black when he enjoyed one of your superb curries on Sunday May 18th. 2008. We all had a great time and the food was top notch as usual. Thanks again, we'll see you soon.
Shere Kahn – RusholmeStill our fave Chinese - we've been going for 6 years now. We're always accommodated even when they are busy & we haven't booked. Staff are friendly as ever - will do your order as you want. Nice rose wine. We're taking a party of 10 there tonight. Cant wait!
Choy Hing Village – SaleI ate at room with friends on Thursday night. I have to say it was truly a memorable experience. The attentiveness and knowledge of the staff was fantastic. The food was second to none. Try the Beef Bourguignonne, meltingly tender packed with the rich flavours you'd expect. My pals went for the risotto and the sirloin steak. They were blown away also. While we were waiting they even brought us a taster of roasted carrott soup. Believe me i make good soups but this was off the radar. Great job Room. I'll definitely be going back.
Grand Pacific restaurant and bar – Manchester City CentreHaving just had a lunch time meal at the Pacific (9 June) I can only describe it as very poor. There was little choice and the food was not replenished as it ran out. The staff attitude was take it or leave it. I shall certainly not be visiting this establishment again
Pacific – Manchester City CentreWe were really looking forward to eating at Amici after reading the good reviews. However, it was one of the worst restaurants I have eaten at in a long time. Service was average at best and staff were disinterested and vague. Our starters arrived very quickly - not a good thing as they had obviously been sitting there, cooked, for a looooong time (not a good thing for one of the specials!) Main course was better but I found a piece of bacon in my 'seafood' pasta - an obvious mistake, but when I mentioned it to the waiter he did not seem at all interested - good thing I'm not allergic to bacon!
Amici – StockportFirst visit but extremely impressed, great food, fast effective service, reasonably priced and will be going again. The setting is traditionally Mediterranean with adequate parking in fact everything was a plus except the house band playing Beatles music hardly what you would expect in a tapas bar.
Tapios Restaurant – Middletonwe went to eastzeast on a saturday night and am pleased to say that we had booked and therefore were not having to queue up for a table. Although the food was excellent we felt like we were on a conveyor belt and were rushed to order both food and drinks. The service was average to say the least especially at the end of the meal when we were asked if we could leave the table as they had a big queue. i think i would prefer to stick to the more traditional Indian restaurant in the future.
East z East – Manchester City CentreThe Persia Grill House is a little gem, small and cosy inside, the staff are friendly and inviting. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced, try the lamb shanks served with rice with dill and broadbeans for something different and very tasty. Great for going out with your partner or a small group of friends, the 'bring your own' policy ensures a fun and inexpensive night for all!
Persia Grill House – ChorltonDined here with a group of night school friends in celebration of taking our GCSE in Spanish. Atmosphere was lovely, food was great, service friendly, meal offer meant we got to try some dishes we might not usually order. FANTASTIC Great local gem !!
La Salsa – HorwichLocal, nice atmosphere, good spacing of tables, excellent service
Ning – Northern QuarterI went there recently with my family. Within 3 hours we were all suffering symptoms of food poisoning. We were all violently sick and had crippling diarrhea. Standards are disgusting, look for yourself, look at the carpets. No Chinese people go there anymore. We all know how bad the food is!
