Ning – Northern QuarterThe food was excellent, as was the service. All of my friends agreed that Ning was top notch and I'm sure many of us will return in the future.
Ning – Northern QuarterHad an excellent meal at the lead station Friday 19th April. It was nice to have a choice of fish from the specials board, the scallop and chorizo starter was well worth the money. Very busy but the food came out quick. Overall a very enjoyable evening.
Lead Station – ChorltonVery friendly staff. Good service. Excellent quality of food. Definitely would recommend friends for a sooner visit! Thanks
Little Yang Sing – Manchester City CentreDined at Pacifica for partner's 40th birthday. Pacifica catered for thirty guests. The venue and food were exceptional with excellent service. Will definitely be returning and apparently, after the feedback from our guests, so will they!
Pacifica Cantonese – EcclesThe burgers are gorgeous but on the pricey side at £7+ for most burgers. I've only ever had the blue cheese burger when I've been to GBK and it's delicious. My husband had the pestarella which was okay but not as good as the blue cheese. I guess my only real gripe about the place is that the fries are £2.65. For a small portion of obviously frozen, pre-processed chips that you could get in any fast food place it's extortionate and lets the meal down. They'd be better off doing real chips or potato wedges. For 2 burgers, 2 portions of fries and 2 cokes the bill came to £26 which isn't particularly good value in relation to the quality of what's on offer.
Gourmet Burger Kitchen – SpinningfieldsOn 4th April 2008 a party of 20 went to Nutters to celebrate my birthday, everyone was impressed with both the standard of the food and the service, even today people are still commenting on the night and how much they enjoyed the Gourmet Menu, amongst the comments was it was the best ice cream ever tasted and the homemade rolls were a great hit, but the comment of the night was from my sister-in-law who came over from Canada and said the meal was worth traveling 4000 miles for. This was my 3rd visit to Nutters and it has not failed to live up to its fine reputation
Nutters Restaurant – RochdaleFood was excellent. Watch the bill though as they automatically added a 10% service charge to the bill and then asked for a tip to go on the credit card as the service charge was not for the staff! Very naughty and a disappointment to the end of the meal. They would have got more in a tip if they hadn't automatically added the service charge for just 2 people.
Little Yang Sing – Manchester City CentreGreat little place, tucked away in Bolton centre. The food is fantastic and great value. The place has a real authentic feel about it too. We had an excellent meal and will certainly be going back !
La Salsa – HorwichIve visited this restaurant on several occasions. and everytime the food & service has been both excellent! on the whole this place is value for money and that's the reason why i keep going back and and telling more people about it!
Villaggio – Manchester City CentreThis is my favourite place to eat in the world. The food is totally fresh and piping hot. We have about 10 1st courses between 4 of us and a couple of chicken kebabs and fabulous rice with fried onions on top. the 1st courses are to die for. Try: moutabal( smoked aubergine), baba ganosh, tabbouleh, falafel, potato kibbeh, ful ma dam ( hot green beans), fantastic chick peas and onions, lach biajeen ( a flat pancake with mince meat on).I have come every birthday for years and really once a week anyway. and what wonderful people.keep is a secret!
Petra – RusholmeMyself and my family visited the Wiggin Tree on the 5th April 2008. Terrible! We went in on the off chance around 2pm. The restaurant and pub were both virtually empty. The menu did not have that much to choose from. I also had my four year old nephew with me and there was nothing for him to choose from so he had a side orde of chips. We ordered three steak and chips and a burger and chips. The steak was fatty and the chips were frozen. you also got a piece of lettuce and a slice of tomato. The burger was so small, half the size of the bun itself. The waitress hovered over us all the time making it uncomfortable to eat. The view is from the restaurant is breath taking, only to be ruined by an Asda van delivering the groceries! The whole meal Was just too dear for the quality that you received.
Wiggin Tree – Wiganhaving visited several curry houses on the curry mile. this is the best by far. great hospitality. tasty food.
Sangam Restaurant – RusholmeWe have been going to the Old Bill for a while now and every time we go we are never disappointed! The chef cooks a lovely steak and the carvery is fantastic, great value for money. The owner, Lisa is always great fun and a lovely person which makes for a nice atmosphere. Highly recommended!
The Old Bill – OldhamWe went on Sunday 6 April, I was really looking forward to this experience after reading the reviews - shame it didn't live up to them. I loved the decor and the crockery, but all the dim sums were served on cold plates and made the food cold very quickly, the restaurant was cold - needed the heating on (so cold my partner put his coat on). The dim sums were some of the best I have had, but the main course with squid was too tough to eat. The manager apologized and offered drinks, but on the whole not an experience I intend to repeat.
Pacifica Cantonese – EcclesWe used to go here frequently but have not been for four years since we had a child and they don’t allow children in
Tapios Restaurant – Middletonoh my goodness - the BEST meal I have ever eaten in Manchester, bar none. Went having been intrigued by Simon Rimmer's laid back cooking on TV. He was there, came out to say hello and cooked brilliantly. I'm not a vegetarian, but this makes the meat/no meat thing irrelevant. great flavours, lovely presentation. Go, go, go
Greens – DidsburyVisited this restaurant with friends who had travelled from America. Fabulous location and beautiful old country style pub. However the food leaves little to be desired. Recommend for a drink on a sunny afternoon but not for a meal.
