Anatolian Grill – PrestwichFabulous evening with the family celebrating NYE. Food excellent and great atmosphere. We’ll be back soon….
L’Aquila Sunny Bank – BuryWe booked a table in November for NYE. We arrived to absolute chaos. They’d obviously overbooked. All tables were full, most were waiting for food then there must have been 40+ people waiting. Some had been waiting an hour! We gave up and went across to Ayaan’s where we received fantastic food and great service despite them being busy with a big birthday booking. Book Pavilion with caution.
The Pavilion – BoltonCame on NYE for tea, we often come to the Windmill, we love it here & everything was perfect, food was excellent.
The Windmill Parbold – WiganHave been a few times. But this visit was by far the worst. Appreciate it was NYE and busy but they couldn’t find our reservation at first. We were then seated and ignored for 20 minutes to order a drink so we had to call someone over. We ordered food at the same time as didn’t want to wait any longer. Table at the side of us left as they waited too long to be served. Food came, was below par, no Parmesan or black pepper was offered, my lasagne hardly had any meat in it at all, didn’t sent back as didn’t want to wait any longer. Were told by server that two staff members had not come in come hence the chaos just a shame and ruined our NYE meal out. Staff were completely ran off their feet.
L’Aquila Sunny Bank – BuryWe came here for new years eve with friends as we have dined at L’Aquila sereval times before. However this is the first time weve been since the spilt with the prestwich branch. From when we sat down to leaving 2 1/2 hours later we was really disappointed with our experience. It took over 20 minutes to get a menu (which we had to ask for), they also didn’t ask if we had any allergies. It then a further 20 minutes to take our order (which again we had to ask the waitress to take our order). We also had to get our own drinks from the bar. The starters were wrong and we only got half of it, we had to keep chasing for the other half which was a cold reject from another table! For our mains, we ordered 4 different pasta dishes, which we’ve previously had from here before. The spaghetti carbonara was tasteless, gooey and left my stomach churning. The farfalle pasta dish looked and tasted like it came from the toilet and we was really disappointed as this has been our favourite pasta dish whenever we’ve dined here. The “fillet steak” within the dish wasn’t fillet, the broccoli was rock hard, the pepper sauce was watery and there were no pine nuts. The young waitresses were friendly however they moaned constantly to paying guests about the chef walking out earlier in the day. They were also acting unprofessional, laughing when trying to stick the balloons back to the ceiling when there were tables to be served and tables to be cleaned. We also weren’t the only guests who had issues as atleast 3 other tables got up and walked out. The only positives from here is the singer was brilliant. Unfortunately, this will be the last time we dine here at the Sunnybank L’Aquila and will stick to the Prestwich restaurant.
L’Aquila Sunny Bank – BuryLovely New Year’s Eve meal.
The Windmill Parbold – WiganBooked in for New Year’s Eve staff where so helpful in changing our table time beforehand and we couldn’t of asked for anything better on the night , food was delicious staff where so helpful and always smiling and all at a great price it’s only our 2nd time here and felt so welcome
The Windmill Parbold – WiganLovely food as always , but they had far too many people crammed into the restaurant, we were basically sharing a table with the people next to us and because there were so many people the staff couldn’t keep up and the meal was let down by the service .
Sorella Restaurant – OldhamWe decided to book last minute for new year we were not disappointed atmosphere brilliant staff fantastic as always food first class would not eat anywhere else thanks for a great night.
The Naz – MontonGreat food and service was fair it was a very busy night and the staff did really well to keep everyone happy and get the food out without too much delay. We will definitely be returning.

The Rising Moon – HydeAbsolutely delicious food, very friendly staff and cosy atmosphere. I would definitely recommend to anyone!
La Sentidos Loca – WiganMy partner and I booked The Drop for a pre game meal and what a fantastic meal it was. I had the curry goat which I must say was perfection and fried dumplings tasted like what my nan used to make very nostalgic I must say. If you’re looking for authentic Carib cuisine just give it a go you won’t be disappointed. Trust!

Titos Asian Grill Indian – PrestwichLovely food again as usual with Lovely staff Very busy - but nearly always is Just wish some of the customers would watch their language- but that's not the staffs fault
Neel Paneer – SaleAbsolute 10/10 visited after the adrenaline escape recommend to us when booking for my sons 14th birthday the table had been decorated (we hadn’t asked for this ) but was a lovely surprise. I didn’t catch the member of staffs name who was serving us but she was so lovely excellent at her job made the experience even better we where all given sombreros just a really fun atmosphere from the second we walked in. Service was quick food was excellent the teenagers tried the wing roulette was hilarious to watch and again without asking the lady serving noticed they had hot mouths and brought jugs of water to the table. They staff brought out brownies with sparklers and Stevie wonder happy birthday played as everyone sang. Really great experience thank you will definitely visit again
