Petra – RusholmeVery good Italian Restaurant beautifully decorated with paintings and a great atmosphere. The choice of food on the menu is fantastic, with so many exciting dishes we were spoilt for choice. The staff were friendly and the service was great. We will be going back soon, couldn't recommend it enough.
Francos – WiganWe try to visit every 5 weeks as we live in Wigan the staff always make us welcome and never forget a face we just love the food and specially the lamb chops starters they are brill we only go to the spicy hut now and we have tried a lot of Indian restaurants in the area it is simply the best see you all in 3 weeks Kathy and Malc if you go ask for the special
Spicy Hut – Rusholmei have been using curry miles for many years. and come across the Sugarvine site and decided to try the Spicy Hut restaurant .it was truly amazing. the best curry i ever had. we started with mixed tandoori, which was fantastic. I tried chicken masti and my partner had chicken handi for main course. i found they were both truly award winners. service is too friendly and impressive. we have finally found a regular place to dine.
Spicy Hut – RusholmeA simply wonderful restaurant. As a first time customer i was very impressed from start to finish. The food was first class, the service was excellent and the Imperial Banquet is serious value for money. I can say with confidence that this is our new favourite restaurant.
Choy Hing Village – SaleThis is a stylish restaurant where you can feel completely relaxed and rub shoulders with Bolton Wanderers footballers. We went mid-week with a teenager, a tearaway 2 year old and a babe in arms. We were seated in a great private area so the tiny tot could run wild and our waitress was smashing, very helpful and full of fun. We had a selection of dishes, all were gorgeous and we ate everything despite the waitress saying we would need a doggy bag! Highly recommended.
Nam Ploy – BoltonI have been to this restaurant on several occasions and it never disappoints. The food is excellent, the service is good and the atmosphere and ambience is wonderful. We go there for all our special occasions.
San Marino – BoltonI came here when it first opened and it was quite good then. The food was average and the set menu was very limited. The atmosphere was good with two birthday parties. The staff need to be more aware what's going on as we were approached three times in five minutes asking if we wanted any drinks
Abacus Restaurant – Horwichwell presented tasty food this restaurant will do well
Chaophraya – Manchester City CentreThis pub does what it does well but don't they go on about it! Yes, the chips are real but let's not get too excited about the ability to fry a potato. The menu is poorly written with smug comments about not serving cr*p to children and well done steak being like shoe leather. The beer is very well kept but a wider selection would be nice. The landlord's ego is catered for with lots of pictures of himself and family( and their unsung charity work!) dotted around the place. This makes the customer feel like a visitor in someones home and , as a result, one doesn't feel like outstaying one's welcome.
The Fisherman’s Retreat – RamsbottomThis was our 3rd attempt to eat here. The other 2 times we missed service by going too late. Food was excellent I had a superb fish and chips and the missus had a steak which she thoroughly enjoyed. Everything looked and tasted like it was freshly prepared, not a frozen chip in site. Highly recommended. Ring to make sure before travelling.
Three Arrows Inn – MiddletonTook my family and parents the other night, great value again at £10.95 for 3 courses, food excellent, but what made it was the attentive staff and the ambience of the place. I do hope the only thing they change here from time to time is the menu they have a winning formula with the small cosy setting and very good food. Well done again
The House Restaurant and Wine Bar – AltrinchamI think rigaletto's was fantastic, the staff were brilliant, and look after your every need. The food is of an extremely high standard and would highly recommend anyone who hasn? been to get there straight away.
Rigalettos – WiganWhat can I say, everytime I have eaten at La Vina or just popped in for a drink I have had wonderful, fun and lively evenings. The staff are friendly, helpful and fun and the food is of a quality standard and the menu choice is wide and full of variety. One thing I'll never forget about La Vina is that I met the most gorgeous and attractive man who I've been seeing ever since!!!!!!!!
La Vina – HaleWhat a quaint little place we visited last night. We went for the Meze banquet and the food was very good and very filling - couldn't manage a dessert, although we were given a taster. Definitely will visit again. Good for large parties
Sokrates Taverna – Horwicha first class, family run restaurant. the food is authentic, well cooked Italian cuisine, and there is an excellent wine list available. we are always made most welcome on our visits to the casa, and our experiences go all the way back over the eighteen years that Roberto and the late Giuseppe have owned the restaurant. highly recommended.
Casa Belmondo – RoytonI've been here a few times. The food here is a cut above your average indian. Every dish I've had is full of flavour. I would recommend it to anyone.
Gurkha Grill – Didsburythe standard was not standard it was 1st class . i went in on Saturday its undergoing a transformation and i say it is looking good . one waiter called alim was very helpful he made us feel welcome and recommended a dish called sharzane murgi althogh it was busy he got out of way 2 make sure we was taken care of
