We booked for a busy Friday night, and I half expected the service to be a little lax from some of the reviews on the page, but I was pleasantly surprised! The young waiter was excellent and the food matched. I had a fillet of Brill for starter, which was cooked perfectly, with an equally delicious beetroot salad. To follow came fillet of Aberdeen Angus beef, which was melt in the mouth tender, seasoned well, with an onion jam, which was an excellent accompaniment. One criticism I did have is that my steak was underdone. I asked for it medium rare, and it came blue / rare, but was good either way. Dessert was a special, chocolate and hazelnut soufflé, which stood a good 2 inches proud of the copper pan in which it was served, and was gooey in the middle. Perfect. All I can say is ... BOOK NOW
