Khandoker – DidsburyThe tapas at La Tasca Deansgate is in a different league from that at some of the other restaurants in this chain. The service is always brisk but friendly. It's always very busy at the usual mealtimes.
La Tasca – Manchester City Centreone of the finest indian restaurants i have ever visited. If you enjoy fine service, sumptous comfort, luxorious surroundings, a warm atmosphere and outstanding cuisine. You have to visit this restaurant.
Indian Ocean – Ashton Under Lynesuperb, i want to go evry day
Choy Hing Village – SaleA fantastic evening had by all. The food was fantastic, probably the best Thai I've had. Try the Seabass!!
Pacific – Manchester City CentreUsually very busy so book ahead if you definately want to eat here. Definately worth the effort - great food, good service, great atmosphere.
La Tasca – Manchester City CentreGreat italian food, very helpful staff, great look & ambience - go!
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreThe best in Manchester. Try the specials. Much better than the greasy stuff in Rusholme- and easy to park too.
Khandoker – DidsburyNeed cheering up and decent food?Book a table!Food is great, plenty of fish specials and a nice Pollo Casanova. The service is excellent ,The staff / owner are very knowledgable as well as helpful.Often prepared to make up a dish for you, that coupled with the fact that they are mad as 10 dogs makes for a good night out.
Donatello Pizzeria Ristorante – StockportNice to have an Italian that's not stuck in the 70's.I don't think any of the staff are Italian but the the pasta dishes are always good.Particular reference to the Penne Con Salchicche which is gorgeous. The house wine is easily quaffable as well!
Marmaris Turkish Cuisine – StockportContinuing the traditions of the Sangam, the food was graet (particularly the Karahi.Biggest change is the interior of the place, very posh when compared to Rusholme, how long it looks so nice and new depends as the place is likely to get swamped post-pub.
Sangam 2 – DidsburyI can see I'll have to change this weekly. This is Town's problem,it is so inconsistant. The food is usually very good depending on which chef is on.The Thai curry especially! But due to the kitchen size the wait for food can be unbearable, often defeating the idea of a lunchbreak as you food arrives by the time you have to go.Tables usually have to be booked at the weekend, but the Stella is the best on draught in HM.
Town Cafe Bar – Stockportmake sure you order the chicken shashlik sizzler with the sauce of your choice.Probably enough fortwo! The Shami kebabs are top as well!
Spicy Hut – RusholmeMay have gone a little downhill since opening, but the buffet deals are second to none.If it had a BYO policy I'd probably never make it out of the place.
Peking Court, The – Manchester City CentreI have been to The Jade Garden a number of times now because it is probably the best Chinese resaurant in Didsbury. The food is always hot and the service although sometimes forgetful is normally polite and prompt.
Jade Garden – Didsburyfriendly waiting staff; excellent food but extremely unpretentious. Don't be put off by the seventies flock wallpaper - all part of the experience!
Deccan Restaurant – UrmstonWe have been going here regularly for the last few years. Its our absolute favourite restaurant. Everything about it is really just fantastic and makes for a great night out. Highly recommended.
