Tampopo – Manchester City CentreI have travelled extensively in Thailand and this is the best Hot and Sour soup that I have had since getting back to England. Bring it on!
Koh Samui Thai Restaurant – Manchester City CentreGreat food and service, nice surroundings, BYO with no corkage.
Westwood East Bangladeshi Cuisine – OldhamI think Harvey's is great, fri and sat for me are winners as the r&b music rocks, you can also buy cocktails such as my favorite Purple Murple at £1.95! Great! It also has a beautiful interior with lamp shades you have to see!
Harvey’s Cafe Bar – Boltonnot what we planned for a romantic night out, but good food!
Cachumba – DidsburyThe decor is unpretentious but stylish, the menu comprehensive & reasonable and the proprietor has a genuine love of the culture & food. The atmosphere was relaxed and intimate and the food excellent. We will definately be making this a regular haunt.
Laughing Buddha – DidsburyI had lunch here today and just had a starter of an assortment of gnocchi in a wonderful garlicky cream sauce. I had to wait a long time for the meal, but was worth the wait. I will definitely go again.
Bella Italia – Manchester City Centrevery good food, best around here, always make time for this place, Alan tends to run/PR the place. Nice geezer :o)
Choy Hing Village – SaleBeluga has a definite style. The food is simple but simply good and the house wine really up on the mark. Bistro in style customers can relax but the service is excellant due to the high number of staff. Understated class
Beluga – BramhallOverall I was very disappointed with this restaurant. The decor is very attractive and it has a nice 'feel', and the food is OK. But the seating is really cramped, we were continually bashing into people behind our table. Service was only average, too. But the worst thing is the cost - it is totally overpriced for what you get (expect to pay over £25 per head). This is OK for a really good meal in areally good restaurant, but this isn't one.
TGI Fridays – Salethis place great for all hungry students. all meals are under 2 pound (and drinks too) and u get a good belly full, not a restaurant but u cant go wrong here if u want good quality great value grub!
Orange Grove – Fallowfieldi think marios is the best restaurant i have ever been to it is superbly delicious
Mario’s Pizzeria Ristorante – Rochdalehave found this a excellent place to eat can not find a bad point to say keep up the good work khan
Bilash Balti House – SwintonGeorgeous food and Turkish wines. We even had our Wedding meal here, and having sadly moved out of the area, miss those wonderful Turkish dishes. Try several mezzes instead of a main.
Turkish Delight – ChorltonWonderful! I have been going for years, and it is consistently good. I have tried most of the menu and never been disappointed
Kosmos Taverna – FallowfieldDefinately the best Chinese in Manchester at the moment!!
Glamorous – Northern QuarterBeen many times. Lovely Food and friendly service. Looking forward to a great night this Friday with a few friends.
Sangam 2 – DidsburyDo not let the modest entrance to this city centre institution fool you. The Armenian Taverna is quite possibly one of the best restaurants that Manchester can boast and the best thing is, that it is truly without any of the pretensions which many of the so called ?tyle?eateries in the city come loaded with. Unless however you are a regular to Armenian cuisine, do not choose from the menu yourself. Instead allow the owner, Matise, who? larger than life character is barely contained within the four walls of the building to make recommendations for you; his knowledge and passion for the food which this venue creates is magical and well worth reserving a table for alone. The exquisite menu is complimented further by a wine list of equally unpretentious but well sought out and enjoyed labels, and the Armenian Taverna is also one of very few establishments to stock Ch?au Musar. There are few restaurants in Manchester that can compete with this restaurant which must be seen to be believed.
