Surya – BoltonA very good restaurant and excellent cuisine. Service and price was very good too, the best vegetarian restaurant for miles in the North West
Surya – BoltonThe food was wonderful. It is always nice to see the chef/proprietor in the dining room greeting and meeting guests.
Abacus Restaurant – HorwichI hope that my experience at Taurus is not going to become the norm. I dined with a number of friends at Al Fresco on a Sunday night and the service was slow and the food portions terrible. Two of my friends ordered a dim sum platter at £12.50, when it eventually arrived after 48 minutes, it consisted of around 8 dim sum items, half a plate of prawn crackers, Olives (Chinese olives no doubt) and a lot of salad. My Cajun chicken was anything but, and was a humble 5 slices of chicken breast in a decent sized ciabatta (all for £5). Fortunately the Taurus Burger with Bacon at £8 was of a better standing. When we commented to the waiter about the portion sizes, he agreed that they were not altogether reasonable and reduced the meal by half price. I've eaten a couple of times here before on lunchtime on various days. I've usually found it much better but I think this is a change in policy by the management. I don't think it's somewhere I could recommend because of the lack of consistency. A great shame.
Taurus Cafe Bar and Restaurant – Manchester City CentreBooking is advised otherwise one can have a long wait. Service was great and so was the food, Can get a bit crowded though but that feeling fades away very fast. Convenient location and a must for Thai food fans out there!

This and That – Manchester City CentreThis is an excellent restaurant and definately worth a visit. It is an initmate place which adds further to the atmosphere. The range of food is very good and the taste even better. If you want a really good meal in warm surroundings, this is it.
Stables Restaurant – HydeI'm sure the whole experience of going for a pizza would be alot better if the staff knew what they were doing and not trying to run their lives whilst attempting to serve.
Pizza Hut – RoytonThe food is always fresh and hot, the staff are pleased to advise on dishes. the set meal for one is outstanding value and defies anyone to finish it! Booking is essential on Friday and Saturday , the only complaint is if very busy you can feel as if yoou are being rushed. Good selection of wine and the usual Indian and british lager
The Pavilion – BoltonWent for Sunday lunch, Set menu £14.95 with 5 choices of starter, main and dessert. Food was excellent but service was on the poor side, this could have been due to good weather tables had been placed outside and was busier than usual. Well worth a try.
Jem and I Bar and Grill – DidsburyI am hooked on the bilash balti house, it used to be a treat twice a month now its almost twice a week, eating in one time and take away other. The staff are always friendley and greet you with an handshake, I recommend anybody who has not tried this balti house to try it, you wont be disappointed.
