Mahabharat Restaurant – WiganWent on Sunday, Restaurant VERY busy, All staff and managers working very hard. There was a slight wait on the food, But the restaurant was busy so this was fine. Food of the top quality and waitress service that is unrivaled locally. Will definatly return. Kay

Gaucho – Manchester City CentreAmazing value for money for unlimited quantities of OK Chinese food. Felt over-crowded with tables very close together. Wasn't as clean as it should be, Especially the toilets.
Peking Court, The – Manchester City Centrecame for sunday lunch.we bothenjoyed it.lovely food friendly service & good price.coming on 21 09 03 for mums b.day.. better & cheaper than buying her a present.
Henry Boddington, The – SwintonGrinch was my long time favourite. It's still good but it? been better. My favourite dishes have been so far: Duck salad; unfortunately wasn't that good prepared last time Mussels: haven't seen them for a while on the menu, which is a shame as I considered them as the best I have tasted so far.
Mud Crab at Grinch – Manchester City Centrenice Dim Sum dishes, Spacious premises, friendly service. No chiecken feet on the menue!
The Rice Bowl – Manchester City CentreTHIS IS A SMALL RESTAURANT WHICH WOULD PROBABLY MAINLY APPEAL TO COUPLES. I FOUND THAT YOU DIDNT GET MUCH FOR YOUR MONEY.
Cherry Tree – HaleWe were recommended this restaurant by a friend who, unfortunately, didn't give us directions!!!. It takes a bit finding, nestled behind the Direct Line building on a back street but well worth searching out. Excellent tapas, notably the chorizo, albondigas & patatas bravas, washed down with a draught Cruzcampo, made the whole thing more Spanish than some cafe bars in Spain! To be honest it took all my self control to prevent me saying "gracias" at every opportunity & asking for La Cuenta. It was all finished off with an excellent, strong cafe solo. We will be returning
El Rincon de Rafa – Manchester City CentreAuthentic Turkish food. I eat here once a week for pure pleasure. Wish I had a mistress to take with me !
Cafe Istanbul – Manchester City CentreLove this place...have pretty much tried everything on the menu. Highly recommend the South Indian Curry and the Vietnamese Hot King Prawn Soup. Absolutely delicious and cheap as chips as well. Highly recommended
Cachumba – DidsburyFood excellent but waiter cleared partners plate before I had finished and plates were tepid.
Gaucho – Manchester City CentreFantastic. Consider myself a bit of a 'curry buff' and have eaten at most Rusholme establishments, but this one stands outas the best of the lot. Everything was top quality, the starters, the mains, the side dishes. Excellent.
Punjab Tandoori – RusholmeThe good; The standard of cooking is very high. Juicy seared Scallops to start, fantastically tender. Mains of (two) turbot fillets and a large tail of monkfish were again cooked and sauced to perfection. Sides of nicely caramelised french beans and chunky chips , great! Wine a very nice bottle of Rioja @ £15. Not so good; Service was a bit patchy, could really do with getting this up to the same standard as the cooking. The place was busy with three in the kitchen and two out front, so perhaps this was the problem. Whatever, definitely check this place out, it is straight in to my top five restaurants in Mcr. Book if going at the weekend.
Jem and I Bar and Grill – DidsburyA good little restaurant offering excellent food in a relaxed atmosphere. The tables are well sized and spaced. The staff are friendly and efficient. A local gem.
Chung Ying – SalfordI enjoy nando's food ,but this restaurant is not a good choice. its very small so you will wait for a long time for a table , and the wait to take out is even longer! u could find your self waiting for more than an hour and theres normally a family of ten hogging the sofas so ull have to stand up!
Nando’s – DidsburyExcellent. Went there for my birthday with 20 friends, the food was superb, service excellent and very inexpensive.
El Rincon de Rafa – Manchester City CentreGreat atmosphere.
