L’Aquila Sunny Bank – BuryWe visited on 9th March. We have been here on a number of occasions just the two of us and also with friends and we have never been disappointed. The food is absolutely beautiful and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We would like to say keep up the good work and we will see you very soon. xxx
The Rising Moon – HydeA Saturday afternoon visit with my husband and my Mum before Mothers Day. Service is always good and this visit was no different. Staff are efficient and pleasant. On this occasion my main was disappointing. The order arrived and was wrong, this was corrected without fuss but the pasta was then too al dente and stuck together. It’s usually my favourite dish here but the pancetta was very fatty which was off putting. My husband enjoyed his pasta dish and my Mum’s pizza was ok. The cannoli were delicious as always. Perhaps it was an off day, shame as we usually enjoy the whole experience.
Cafe Italia – BoltonGreat food as usual. Owner even offered to make a dish that wasn't on the menu if we wished. Top class
Arnero – Manchester City CentreExcellent, good value, great atmosphere and service
La Sentidos Loca – WiganOur second time here and just as good as the first, the staff were lovely and on the ball, a great selection of cocktails, and the food absolutely delicious; last time we shared a selection of mezze but this time wanted to try something different so started with feta borek and chicken livers, then lamb and chicken iskender and prawn casserole, rounded off with baklava. Superb!
Anatolian Grill – PrestwichBig fat won’t come again
Boogalu – Northern QuarterWonderful meal with great service. The best around I would say.
L’Aquila Prestwich – PrestwichThe food was amazing matched by great service. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back, we highly recommend.
The Gatehouse Ale & Aloo – WorsleyWent on Friday 1st March didn't have to wait long for the food and service was good atmosphere was good staff was very good .
The Rising Moon – HydeMy friends and I booked a late meal, so the atmosphere was slightly quieter than usual but this was preferred. Service was good with the only hiccup being one of the table was recommended cider. As avid beer drinkers we like to try new things and it came under the ‘bottles’ section. This was through our own fault for not checking but perhaps the menu could be clearer reflecting what is and isn’t beer. First choice beer was not available however the food was amazing, all those at the table were very happy with the timely manner it was presented and how it tasted.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreDelicious food, lovely friendly staff & great atmosphere. Only negative is we asked for tea & coffee and didn’t get it.
L’Aquila Sunny Bank – BuryWe came from Glossop to have a meal with my Mum. Have been regularly and never been disappointed. Sunday was no exception. Lovely staff, lovely food. A very noisy child on the next table did distract us but the party thankfully went after about 20 minutes so no complaints and have booked lunch on Easter Sunday
Panama Hattys Grill – PrestwichExcellent service great atmosphere and fantastic food will be back thank you
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreFabulous as always. Service great, food even better. We need to go more often. My only negative would be the young servers standing around chatting, quite off putting.
Neel Paneer – SaleThis is our go to place for my husband and I for a date night. We've been a few times now and can't fault it. The ambience is lovely and the chairs so comfortable. I like the fact that the tables aren't too close together which you find in so many places now. The staff are lovely, friendly but not intrusive. The food is outstanding and I think it's value for money. Highly recommend. My husbands only gripe on the last occasion was the music, it wasn't to his taste but you can't please everyone. Xx
L’Aquila Prestwich – PrestwichWe regularly dine at L'aquila restaurant in Prestwich and it never disappoints . The food is consistently good always tasty and always hot !
