THE ONLY PLACE TO EAT IN MIDDLESBROUGH IF YOU WANT QUALITY FOOD. FORGET THE OTHER SO CALLED ITALIAN RESTAURANTS THIS PLACE IS THE BUSINESS. HAPPY STAFF GREAT SERVICE AMAZING FOOD KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
Fellinis – MiddlesbroughSimply the best Indian meal I've had, the owner appears to cook everything himself, to ensure it meets his exacting standards, and he likes to talk to his customers whenever possible. You may have to wait a little longer for your food, but it's well worth the wait!
Jamal’s – Middlesbroughmy family and i have eaten in fellinis over the past eight years and we can honestly say that there is no better family restaurant in the north east. I understand that the manager took over the place five years ago and you can see the difference. There is a great deal more attention to detail the fish is fantastic and the whole feel of the place is warm and like being in a family home. The place has won numerous awards but there can be no greater award than the customers who come back time after time. Many other restaurants have opened in middlesbrough since fellinis opened but they are quite simply not in their league. They will never be able to give what i call the fellinis touch. They may look snazzy but they have no soul or passion the way fellinis has. Fantastic keep up the good work. And by the way children eat free.
Fellinis – Middlesbroughamazing fish great prices look on their web site for menus
Fellinis – MiddlesbroughBest family restaurant in Teesside Children eat free Fantastic fresh fish Look on their web site
Fellinis – MiddlesbroughThis has got to be one of the roughest pubs in the north east. The saw dust floor covering does not look out of place.Frequently full of scaffolders or similar people with low intelligence ,you know what i mean.I only hope the new landlord knows what he is doing.
Newcastle House – MiddlesbroughOutstanding Indian food-slightly slow service(was a very busy Saturday night) but only because all food cooked to order and well worth waiting for. South Indian Garlic chilli chicken-superb. At last have found an Indian restaurant on Teesside worth recommending. We will be back!
Jamal’s – MiddlesbroughWe have visited the Tavistock Italia Restaurant three times now and the first two visits we were very impressed with the decor and the ambience of the restaurant and the meals were great, and we told all our friends, but on our third visit we took friends with us after recommending it. We were there last Bank Holiday Monday and were very disappointed! I don`t know if the chef was on holiday that day but nothing was the same as before, especially the starters! We asked the waitress what a certain item was and her answer was `basically its cheese on toast but a bit posher` - this wasnt what we wanted to hear. We had £15 vouchers off a meal and starter for two people - not sure if this may have made a difference. Would like to try it again sometime but how can we be sure we get the same service as the previous two times.
Tavistock Italia @ Best Western Highfield Hotel – MiddlesbroughEliano's is one of the few restaurants in the Teesside area that has any character. The staff are friendly, the food is good, the restaurant gives off a traditional Italian vibe. Also as a bonus, its one of the last restaurants in Middlesbrough to still provide an occasional live jazz scene.
Eliano’s Italian Brasserie – MiddlesbroughThe presentation was nice but the food did not match. Overall very disappointed, not one to go back to. I would give it a star rating of 1 out of 5
Tavistock Italia @ Best Western Highfield Hotel – MiddlesbroughThis is my favourite indian in town.Hotter the curry the better and theres no better than the Massala
Massala The – MiddlesbroughCentral Park is a lively and very popular restaurant. The food is very tasty and I don't mind waiting as I know it is cooked from fresh. Try the mousetrap burger! Book in advance to ensure you reserve a table.
Central Park – Middlesbroughi didn't like it i hate spicy food and even there mild lemon and herb spicy chicken was to spicy for me, and there kids meal selection is also spicy it was a waste of money. we eat out all over and have never complained but this place i didn't one bit. also my 4 year old hated it cos they never sold juice.
Nando’s – MiddlesbroughI have been to Toby Calvery a number of times and definitely would go again. The service is excellent and the price is very reasonable as there is a set price for a buffet meal which is £5.25. You can pile your plate as high or low as you want and the price will always be the same. I would recommend the Gammon it is really beautiful and tender. I cant really recommend on the desserts as i have always been too full to try them so i guess that's a good sign!
Toby Carvery The – MiddlesbroughI have been to the Lingfield many times and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent and the staff are always friendly and give good service. You order the food at the bar along with your drinks, and you are able to relax in the atmosphere. It is not too posh but it isn't shabby so you will be able to relax and enjoy the food. The Lingfield farm sometimes shows football matches so this is ideal for the supporters who would like to have something to eat and watch the match at the same time! so there's no excuse not to go out when the football is on!
Lingfield Farm The – MiddlesbroughThis pub has gone way down. The beer is terrible, the atmosphere has changed and it has a "couldn't care less" feel. It is such a super little pub and it is just a shame that it has gone like this.
Master Cooper The – Middlesbroughmy family and i went to the banana leaf all you can eat restaurant in middlesbrough, the food was nice but the service was shocking, particularly from one man who looked like the supervisor,he treated us all like cattle, herded us in and herded us out!i will not be going back!
Banana Leaf – MiddlesbroughWent to Central Park as we often do (but will no longer) with party of 17 to celebrate my wedding anniversary. When it came to time to settle the bill went to pay in couples as we always do and was told in no uncertain terms that one person would have to pay the whole bill and then get the money back from the others as it was to much work for the staff to do this for us. After spending nearly £400 on food and drink I would think that spending five minutes working out a bill when everyone new what they had and taking maybe four individual payments would not be so hard. When questioning why this policy had been implemented I was told it has always been this way despite the fact that we always pay separately and after pointing this out to the manager he became dismissive and then walked away to leave a young girl on the till to take the flack while he disappeared to deal with something more important than his customers. In future we will be going to one of Middlesbrough’s other restaurants where they treat there customers as more than an annoyance or inconvenience.
