The food is great and love the bar too, however you need to have plenty of time as the staff like to chat amongst themselves.

Vujon – Newcastle City CentreI've been there several times with my friends. The food is excellent and delicious, specially the "Chicken Tikka Mosalla" And of course Service is outstanding. The waiters are very smart, helpful and always smiling.I love this place.
Koh-I-Noor – Newcastle City CentreYup, the reviews were right - excellent food, attentive service, good ambience and only a bit more in terms of cost than average. One big and very disappointing "however"... We had booked a table for four via telephone, but when we arrived last Saturday, a not unusual story, no record of the booking! The excuse proffered was perhaps the booking had been taken by someone with poor English language skills. It was interesting to note there were no other bookings shown in the book for around the time we wanted to eat either. Hmmm... Not to worry, we had a drink in the bar. Unfortunately, despite a number of reminders from us and repeated assurances that we'd have a table in ten minutes, we didn't get seated for a further 45 minutes. If it hadn't been my girlfriend's birthday, I would have had the drinks and walked out. I'd go again, but next time make very sure I'd taken a name of the person taking the booking. I'd also make a lot more fuss in the very public bar area if we didn't get our table at roughly the agreed time.

Hei Hei – Newcastle City CentreEl Torero is my most favourite restaurant of all time. The food is amazing, the service is relaxed and friendly and you can really tell the people who own the place are proud of it. Koh-I-Noor – Newcastle City CentreThe best meal i have had for ages, the service was excellent even though it was very busy, nothing was too much trouble and the restaurant itself was lovely. Will be going again soon cant wait. Please book in advance as it gets busy.
Landmark – Newcastle City CentreOne word: unique. Me and my family went there for my mother's 50th and had such a fun time. The large room with authentic stone walls from the bridge is unlike anything I've seen before! The staff seem a lot of fun and the pizzas are probably the best around. Highly recommended!
Prima – Newcastle City CentreWent for a Friday night 'romantic' meal, only to find the place totally empty. This made for a bit of an awkward atmosphere, although it's not something that Latif's can be directly blamed for. The food was exquisite, but ruined by some sarcastic and abrupt service. Indeed, when we ordered two Mango Lassie? for dessert, we were greeted with surprise and distain - despite it being on their dessert menu. Overall, it was a real shame, because (although pricey) the food was up there with the best Indian? in Newcastle.
