So went onto the Instagram page after no one answered the phone. Booked via Instagram. Got a email back to say table will be waiting and I can only stay for 90 mins max. Drove out and the shop was closed. No message email or phone call. Today I get a email to say how was my food. Food mau have been nice but I wouldn't know. 0

Beautiful food as always, lovely little restaurant serving authentic Turkish cuisine in Newcastle city centre. Can recommend the chicken dolma and chicken and lamb combo. Really good service too even on a very busy match evening.

Best turkish food in the North East. Excellent choice of food and all the dishes we had were well presented and tasted delicious. Very sensibly priced.

Not a good meal on Saturday 22nd Jan. We had been looking forward to it but slow service, bread for starters appeared stale, very little flavour to food. Not what we are used to

First-time visit on the recommendation of colleagues. I'd been craving a Beyti for the whole of lockdown, and this didn't disappoint. Although I'm a bit of cheapskate, I even went off the main menu, rather than have a lunch special for the privilege! I have to say, there was rather a lot of yoghurt dressing, and the presentation wasn't as 'exciting' as I've had in other Mediterranean restaurants (I've previously had this served in a kebab-style with a side salad, fancy scribbly sauce and a tasty little rice dome) however, that said, the flavour was still delicious, and the portion (very) satisfying. My friend enjoyed her wrap, and her allergies were duly noted. Together with the complimentary bread, reasonable prices and friendly, attentive staff, it's a thumbs up from us, we'd definitely go back. Another positive telling sign were the many Mediterranean guests coming and going - obviously a compliment to the restaurant!

Excellent food as always! Little cold in the top half of the restaraunt. The waitress did offer to turn on radiator though. Lambs liver starter delicious!

Fabulous Turkish food and amazing staff. We always feel so welcome here - like old friends. Have tried many meals on the varied menu and love them all.

We hadn't been here for ages and used to really enjoy it. We weren't disappointed this time. The food is still lovely and great value for money. It won't be as long before we're back again.

Have visited Red Mezze on a few occasions. Quirky little restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly staff and amazing food. Will definitely be back

Found on Insta, so glad we made time to visits! Myself & partner have a few favourite spots to eat in Newcastle and this is among the best we’ve had, food & service were 10/10. Really nice place to sit and eat good quality and we’ll prepared food, will most definitely be back and already have recommended to others
