Well worth a visit again and again and again! The specials are tempting, good range of pasta and pizza if you want keep the cost to a minimum and nothing is too much trouble.

La Vita – Newcastle City Centrethis place is always better than expected, you step in safely thinking of a huge size dish of mussels mariniere and end up with a Dover sole simply pan-fried with garlic and coriander...a smilin` waitress which would recognize you after 2 visits... that`s all i need from a restaurant !
Big Mussel – Newcastle City CentreMy boyfriend and i went to Zizzis on valentines day and thought it was a really nice romantic atmosphere with friendly staff and the food was good. It is now one of my favourite restaurants in Newcastle and i have been back a number of times
Zizzi – Newcastle City Centrei have been with my partner and son aged 5 about 6 times we love it we have starters and i have steak my son has chicken and my partner has a whole lobster we all have rice we have drink which include 2 bottles of wine and it comes to around 80 pound but the price for the food is fantastic good value for money we would recommend it to anyone
Fujiyama – Newcastle City Centrei have been with my partner and son aged 5 about 6 times we love it we have starters and i have steak my son has chicken and my partner has a whole lobster we all have rice we have drink which include 2 bottles of wile and it came to around 80 pound but the price for the food is fantastic good value for money we would recommend it to anyone
Fujiyama – Newcastle City CentreWe took my father there for his 60th birthday and it was the one of the best meals we have ever had. The staff looked after us and really made my parents our younger children feel very welcome. A great family restaurant i would highly recommend. Value for money was also good can't wait to go back.
Prima – Newcastle City CentreIf you like pasta, I have tried best pasta in Newcastle and it was in Luigi's. They have simple secret, do it simple and keep it traditional couldn? believe size of oven baked pasta for only £3,95 each and food was superb. After our first visit we have visited Luigi's regularly every second week. When we go to Luigi's we know food will be great, service is very friendly, their happy hour is really worth visiting
395 Pizzeria – Newcastle City CentreI don't get it. I love the food at this place excellent thai food, but always quiet. I have been in the week, on a friday night, on a weekend and never seen more than 10 people dinning! I suspect it's competition is the "all you can eat" places on stowel street. Eat here if you expect great service and good food try not to think about it being empty...at least you don't have to wait too long too eat.
Thai Siam – Newcastle City CentreNice little place. Convenient if you live in Heaton and well worth travelling if not. Could do with being open some week nights please, as Friday and Sat night you need to book. Food very good...(oh i'm not a veggie!) but my veggie friends agree it's superb!
Sky Apple – Newcastle City CentreWent here last Thursday night, food was mouth watering, makes a change from the usual hum drum in town! and such extensive choices., the staff are very attentive and very knowledgeable about their food and beverages and all so friendly, taking time to talk to all the customers, (mind out though they work like SAS crack commandos- ) such a fun and vibrant place definitely my favourite place in town cant wait to go back!!!!!!
Big Mussel – Newcastle City CentreFood fresh, tasty and well presented. Relaxed atmosphere, ideal for a Sunday lunch. One observation, not a complaint, room temperature could have been a little warmer.
Blackfriars Restaurant – Newcastle City CentreMy wife and I ate here on a cold wet Saturday night. We received a warm welcome from the very attentive staff. The food is good. It is the usual choice of pasta, pizza and burgers and a few moe expensive dishes as well. Suitable for most people I would say and average price. What made our night enjoyable was that they play nice soul music and the place feels warm and relaxing. The young staff were extremely pleasant which was a nice change from the usual indifferent service which is common these days even in more expensive restaurants. We will return with friends.
Silk Room Restaurant and Champagne Bar – Newcastle City CentreMe and my partner had a fantastic meal, the service was second to none and the prices are great for all, I highly recommend the landmark to everyone I speak to!
Landmark Oriental – Newcastle City CentreSachins offers fantastic food in a friendly informal atmosphere. If you are somebody who likes their curries generic, brightly coloured and westernised this is not the restaurant for you. A lack of the usual chicken tikka massala and Vindaloo on the menu is testament to the authenticity of the food. It is worth booking especially on a Saturday as it can get very busy. This is THE ONLY Indian restaurant I would recommend to anyone as I have never eaten anywhere as good. I recommend the butter chicken, karahi gosht and the jalfrezi for those that like something with a bit of a kick! Their peshwari nans are out of this word too!
Sachins – Newcastle City CentreThe restaurant itself is simple so don't be put off by the layout because the food here is lovely! Its beautifully presented and the portions are huge! The staff are very friendly and helpful. If you're a seafood fan you'll love it and you'll always go back for more!
Big Mussel – Newcastle City CentreGorgeous food, friendly staff, great atmosphere and good value for money, what more could you ask for?
La Tasca – Newcastle City CentreThis is our first choice for a girls night out. The food is excellent and the staff are so friendly and helpful. They even cater for someone in our party who has a nut allergy. Imagine trying to cook the food without using a nut oil but they do it and she says it tastes lovely. We have tried other restaurants but we always come back to this one as it can't be beaten for taste, atmosphere and the price is really good value. The banquets offer a really good choice and you can change anything on the menu for something different to suit.
Dragon House – Newcastle City CentreBeen going her for years. Visited on the 20th Dec 2006. Arrived just before 9. Was still offered the special Xmas menu. As usual excellent! Wouldn't go past it.
