A great venue and and Friendly staff. It was my birthday and I was offered a birthday shot and my friends have enjoyed their meal a lot.

Eaten in KafeNeon several times, it NEVER disappoints! Great food and service and excellent value for money. I will continue to recommend KafeNeon and will certainly be back again soon.

Went to Kafeneon for my birthday and myself and my partner got a mezze sharing platter which was absolutely beautiful. We loved everything included in the platter but the absolute star was the beef stifado which we both agreed was the nicest thing we’d had in ages. We also had a baklava and churros for desert, both of which were amazing. Put it this way, we went to Crete last year and the food there was good but the food at Kafeneon topped it!

Everything about this place is amazing! Five star service & food! The portions are huge and absolutely delicious!

This is my favourite restaurant in Newcastle. We were a party of 12 celebrating 2 birthdays and we were not disappointed. The food choice was excellent and delicious. For anyone who enjoys Greek food this restaurant is a must. Try it you won’t be disappointed

Easy to book online for a reservation. Friendly staff, excellent food! Great service and the bill was reasonable, highly recommend.

Good location near the city centre and St. James Park. Red Mezze is a Turkish restaurant however the food isn’t exactly Turkish. More a mix of Turkish and Middle Eastern dishes. The ingredients aren’t of the best quality so the food it’s as flavoursome and tasty as what you find in restaurants when visiting Turkey. If you want a quick kebab then this place is OK. If you are expecting a good quality Turkish meal, best avoid.
