This is the third time I have been to this restaurant and once again was not disappointed. The staff are so friendly and the food on each occasion has been delicious. The atmosphere in this restaurant is lovely and if you like Greek food, I would highly recommend a visit you will not be disappointed

Long time since I have visited Red Mezze, and wasnt disappointed! Lovely friendly staff, lunchtime special such value for money, and the menu is so varied, hard to choose! We both enjoyed our starts and main courses, and the house wine at £17.50 (I think) for a nice bottle of dry French white was delicious - we will be back!!

Really nice lunch, so relaxed , friendly staff, great choice of menu and drinks, very generous portions, toilets spotlessly clean and well lit, I celebrated my 70th birthday with my husband yesterday and we will be back.

Had an absolutely amazing meal with friends at Kafeneon last night. Quickly seated and order taken and delivered piping hot. We were all absolutely stuffed and one of the party even got a doggy bag as portion was quite big. Well definitely come back without hesitation.

This is Third time we’ve been to Kafeneon and it just gets better every time! We ordered the “original meze” for 2, it was absolutely delicious! The best Greek food we’ve had (and we’ve tried a lot!) the service is faultless and for the price (£16.95 per person for the meze) you really can’t go wrong! Thanks so much and we’ll definitely be recommending the restaurant to anyone going upto Newcastle!
