This was my first visit to kafe neon and i will certainly be returning. The atmosphere waa lovely, friendly and welcoming. There was a great choice on the menu and the prices are very reasonable. The food was very fresh and tasty. The cocktails were amazing. Can't wait for next visit.

Enjoyed a delicious meal at Kafeneon. Service was excellent, so friendly and efficient. From being greeted at the door & throughout the course of our meal staff were so attentive. Definitely recommend this restaurant & if we return to Newcastle for another trip we’ll visit Kafeneon again!

We went for a pre theatre meal, choosing from the set 2 course menu. The potion sizes were impressive. The staff were lovely friendly and the service was very good. No service charge on the bill, so they got more than the 10%. Will definitely return and wholeheartedly recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous lunch here with friends yesterday! Lovely friendly staff, VERY tasty food and love the atmosphere and restaurant style. The saganaki for starter and shredded pork gyros was just like being back in Greece! So good! (Also the homemade chips are to die for!) Such good value with the 2 courses special! My sister’s coeliac and with a seperate gf menu and staffs knowledge of allergies she didn’t have to miss out on the quality either! Bonus!! Will definitely be back! Soon!

Lovely food, great service and friendly staff.

We arrived for a lunch prior to going to the theatre for a matinee. My Mum has several food intolerances that, if triggered, would have prevented her attending the theatre! The staff were fantastic and accommodated her brilliantly; they were humorous, personable, helpful and knowledgeable and served up promptly. The food was lovely and portions much larger than expected. The mini meze starter is served for a minimum of 2 people and could easily be a main course for each or serve 3. We will definitely want to return.
