Have eaten here many times and is always lovely. We visited again last night and it was great. The restaurant was extremely busy but all the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and is a little bit of Greece in Newcastle.

Great food and staff

Booked online to take my bestie for her special birthday. The food was excellent and the service excellent. They even surprised her with a piece of cake singing happy birthday. Thanks for making our evening special and will be back

Another visit to this lovely restaurant and another lovely meal with great service. Always best to book ahead I think as they can get very busy. One small criticism I have is about the size of the main courses, which for both myself and my friend can be a little challenging.

Everything was amazing! Great drink choice. Food was beautiful with lots of options but all executed perfectly. Will definitely be returning!

Had lovely meal at Kafeneon. 2 course menu was great value and food was all extremely tasty and fresh. Loved the decor and was good vibe for a Sunday night. Will definitely return again when we come to Newcastle.

A warm greeting , excellent food and friendly service. I would have hesitation in returning to Kafeneon whenever I'm in Newcastle.

Fantastic night. Good wine great food. Lovely restaurant but the icing on cake was the staff they were all amazing. !! From the minute we walked in till we left each and every one of them were great we don’t live local. But as a group of 7 not so young ladies we all said we would have weekend in Newcastle again just to visit this restaurant Best service we have had in a long time

This restaurant is consistently good no matter how busy they are. The food is authentically Greek and the staff are brilliant. Definitely our go to place to eat when in Newcastle.

Never had a bad meal or service here. Consistently good. I had Beef Stifado and my daughter had Chicken Gyros. The restaurant itself is lovely and the staff are very attentive. Definitely my go to for lovely Greek food.
