Love this restaurant, staff and food are fabulous,

Once again, we enjoyed excellent food here two nights ago on a short trip to Newcastle. It's the best Greek food ever, in my opinion. The two us always have the meze platter, which is obviously cooked with outstanding, high quality ingredients. The portions are very very generous and every mouthful is a dream. PLEASE KEEP THIS DISH ON YOUR MENU as I don't think I could cope if it disappeared! There's also a lovely atmosphere and the staff are attentive and very very pleasant; they can't do enough for you. The refurbishment is also fantastic and I simply can't wait to come back to Newcastle from North Wales, so that we can eat here again. Eating at Kafeneon is always the highlight of our fairly frequent trips to this wonderful city. Outstanding!! Would definitely recommend to everyone.

Had a work team lunch Service was great - everything flowed smoothly Submitted the pre order and food was on table within 5 minutes of our arrival. Food delicious and no complaints from the team :)! Definitely recommend.

As always the staff, atmosphere and food did not disappoint. Quick to be seated, staff are always super friendly and accommodating. I love this place and recommend it to everyone. Portion sizes are spot on and 2 courses for £14.95 is great value for money.

Had a lovely lunch at kafeneon the food was superb ,a must try is there tomato and feta soup delicious,staff and atmosphere superb could not fault we will be back.

Lovely family tea after a Christmas shopping trip. Warm welcome as we walked through the door and everyone enjoyed their food, as always. We will be back.

The food was to die for, exactly like you would get back in Turkey, amazing value for money and the portions were amazing! The ayran was to die for and the staff were friendly and welcoming! I am coming back asap

Arrived 40 minutes early not a problem for kafeneon. food was on the table in ten minutes absolutely love the place that is why I go back time and time again

We quite often dine here the staff are very friendly and professional the atmosphere is fantastic and the food is amazing We went on Saturday night and we had a relative stay with us last minute and they very kindly fit him in to our booking We are there again this Saturday with family it’s hard to find anywhere close to this gem of a find
