As always the restaurant atmosphere was excellent, the food brilliant, and great for gluten free choices for my wife who is coeliac. But what makes Kafeneon our "go to" place when in Newcastle is the wonderful friendly service from the incredible staff. Thank you.

Only comment about food would be:- - Chicken Skewers were a little dry - Beef Stifado was a little over salted Otherwise everything was perfect

Boquerones Tapas and Cocktails – Newcastle City CentreFrom the second we walked into Red Mezze the service was impeccable, very polite and more than willing to cater for our extra needs (booked a table for four but someone else turned up). We were given plenty of time read the rather full menus and decide on what we were going to eat. The food was served up really quickly and was of fantastic quality. The serving staff were very patient with us making a few little mistakes in the pronunciations of the meals and corrected us as we ordered. I was so impressed I'm definitely going back to try more of their dishes. Well don folks and thanks for a lovely meal.

There was 1 small complaint of a minor nature which I did mention to staff on leaving and made because I was not enthusiastic about having my soft drink served in what looked like a jam jar with a handle on the side rather than in a straight glass.

We were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our table in this cosy restaurant. We didn’t wait long for our food to arrive and it was really delicious. Can’t praise this place enough for good food , good service and pleasant staff.
