Fantastic food & service with a great atmosphere. First visit but won't be my last. Would definitely recommend.

Attended with family, sat upstairs which was lovely. Felt more quiet and relaxed than the hustle and bustle of downstairs. Lovely Greek decor inside! Waiters were attentive, polite and pleasant. Ordered 2 chicken gyros and 2 lamb koftas, all were good size portions, freshly made and delicious. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent service, lovely atmosphere and fabulous food

The most perfect place to go for either lunch or dinner, food is always amazing, staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and cocktails are always spot on! Highly recommend.

My fourth evening visit to this lovely restaurant and always the service and food are great. This time we dined on the first floor for the first time and while it was nice to have a window seat the room was very noisy. With room for less diners on the ground floor our preference in future will be to dine on the ground floor.

Such a warm and friendly place, very welcoming. Menu well balanced and includes most Greek favourites. My souvlaki chicken was very generous, if a little dry, and the accompaniements,I chose rice over chips, were super fresh and tasty. My husbands Stifado was delicious, very authentic with that subtle hint of cinnamon that is often missing. I’ll return for that dish next time! House white wine fresh and smooth. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Thankyou.

We have had lunch at Kafeneon quite a few times, the food is always delicious the staff are always lovely and the place is spotless clean. I don't have anything bad to say. Thank you :) Highly recommend

Amazing food in an authentic, cosy restaurant. I booked following a recommendation from a friend and what a recommendation it was. Perfect ambience, food and very friendly staff. The menu is good and the quality first class. Highly recommended.

I went with my son for an early dinner on Friday 20th September. We had wonderful and plentiful food. The service was prompt and friendly and I would certainly recommend Kafeneon to any prospective diners

What a delightful place we had the most delicious meal yesterday - such a friendly warm atmosphere- delicious started and mains - and then the orange cake - wow what a perfect recommendation from our waiter- thank you for your hospitality and delicious food

I went to Kafeneon, a long-standing favourite eatery of ours, yesterday for a catch-up lunch with an old friend. The welcome and service is always friendly and efficient and the food is tasty and reasonably priced. The food is authentic Greek cuisine and is always consistently fresh and flavoursome. I would definitely recommend and I will definitely be back to eat there again soon

Five of us went we had 3 Rubber Chicken toasties, beef stifado and gluten free souvlaki. Everyones meal was huge and delicious. I got the toastie because I just wanted something small however it came with a huge portion of skin on fries and a side salad. We've eaten here many times and have never been disappointed
