Myself and my partner eat regularly at Kafeneon for both lunch and dinner and are always impressed by the immaculate, friendly and efficient service, warm welcome and excellent, authentic Greek cuisine. Some very nice cocktails too!

Arrived and seated immediately. Lovely atmosphere, staff were attentive and friendly and the food was lovely, as always.

What a gem of a find. I literally typed Greek restaurants in Newcastle and found this amazing place. It was super busy I was glad we had booked. We were looked after from start to finish. I can highly recommend the moussaka. There is no need for starters as the main portion sizes are so big. We enjoyed special cocktails for dessert. I will be going back again and again. 5* all the way. Super friendly staff and food simply amazing.

Lovely place, especially when you can sit in the cavern-style section. A good vegan menu too (make sure you ask for one as it is separate :) ). Recommend the Dolmades and the Gigantic Beans. Very tasty.
