Highweek Village Inn The – Newton AbbotHad a lovely meal here, the fish was perfect. I will be back and highly recommend it.
Old Rydon Inn – Newton AbbotThis is a bizarre place - very old pub set down behind a reasonable modern housing burb. Food is nice, staff are friendly and there is a garden which is great to eat outside whilst distracting the kids! Good place to go for family lunch - not my first choice for a romantic meal though.
Court Farm Inn – Newton AbbotBeautiful setting at low and high tide, especially with sunsets, outside. Can be a little breezy Food - variable, pleasant enough, nice salads, and generous Sunday roast. A pleasant location to stop for an outdoor lunch, evening drink
Passage House Inn The – Newton AbbotBrookside is a wonderful restaurant; the staff are very friendly and give a great atmosphere. The food is delicious and it is most popular. I would recommend their service and food to anybody! Lovely place, keep up the good work!
Brookside Restaurant – Newton AbbotWell, what a lovely pub/restaurant. Lovely thatched building nestling in the valley. Staff and ambience brilliant. Food both in bar and restaurant excellent. Lovely selection of wines and beers. Very popular so you need to book!
Linny Inn The – Newton AbbotFood was great, my wife and parents had a very good time, would recommend anyone to go to the castle it is a fantastic place, beautiful
Bovey Castle – Newton AbbotFantastic dinner in a beautiful setting. Loved the idea that the food is locally produced and absolutely seasonal.
Bovey Castle – Newton Abbotone of the best by far that i have been too , same owners as the spice bazaar in dartmouth , food is as good but quite different ,
Spice Bazaar – Newton AbbotWe have eaten at Bickley Mill now since the new revamp and it is a total transformation. The staff are always courteous and friendly, the food is always excellent with choices to fit all pockets. Lots of authentic new recipes of all cuisines and to suit all palates. Lovely ambience with lots of wood and soft cushions. Never had a bad meal there.
Bickley Mill Inn The – Newton AbbotWe ate here today and I have to say the food was excellent. Certainly as good as "The New Angel" at Dartmouth, - if not better. The ambience was good and the service friendly and attentive. The only issue I have is that they had a spacious "Loo" which is accessible for people in wheelchairs, but no ramp to get there, which is a real shame. It wasn't cheap, but still good for the quality. We could have gone for a "Light lunch" which was a main course and pudding for £14.95-excellent value. The problem was all the dishes were so tempting we had to try out as much as possible! I have to say I'll be recommending this restaurant to all my friends and colleagues. We will definitely be returning.
Agaric – Newton AbbotA superb hideaway in Dartmoor. I have been going to the Rock inn for ten years now and everything is always first class. The food is outstanding and the accommodation is very comfortable. Having lived in the Basque Country -which is second to none in terms of cuisine in Spain; the rock emulates their standards in freshness and quality. A night at the rock for 2 with 3 course dinner and breakfast is the best value for money I have found in Devon (approx £140). Well done and see you soon. Colin Campbell EXETER
Rock Inn – Newton AbbotFantastic nice staff good place to be seen will be back
Hare And Hounds – Newton AbbotGood pub food with many imaginative touches
Jolly Sailor The – Newton AbbotThe best pub and restaurant in south Devon the food is great and a good selection of wines and beers and dose great kids meals. I have been coming to Devon for many years and would recommend the sloop to anybody the restaurant is called [the hungry horse] and outside there is a great play area for the kids they also do a good drinks selection for the kids
Sloop The – Newton Abbotgreat food, great place.........
White Hart Hotel and Brasserie – Newton AbbotGood variety of tapas but only 3 main courses to choose from. Didn? feel very welcomed by the waitress, maybe because it was busy. Tapas of lamb kebabs, air dried tuna, marinated olives, olives wrapped in anchovy were DELICIOUS. Saw two couples being turned away on a Wednesday night.
Moorish – Newton Abbotvery nice will be coming back and loved the carvery.
